Hot tub was very nice. We like using kayaks. Lake was beautiful. Enjoyed back decks. House clean. Hostess was very nice letting us get in early. Was greatly appreciated. Did not like all exposed mouse traps all through house. Woke up to all our food covered in ants on counter and in cupboards. Would have like to open windows for fresh air no screens or screen doors.

The host was very welcoming calling ahead and leaving us a little gift for our anniversary. This is our 2nd time staying at this property. We loved it so much the first time. There were a few disappointments this time. There is a different hot tub which is smaller and not quite as comfortable. The swing by the lake is no longer there. However, the biggest disappointment was that the back porch is no longer screened in. So we had to use bug spray to sit out there to not get bit up by mosquitoes.

We had the best mini getaway at the Lake House! We soaked in the hot tub, cooked meals on the fire pit and ate alfresco at the picnic and fire pit area. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises over the lake.Such a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place for the reset we all needed.

We had the best time at this property! What a beautiful gem! They had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend! Comfy beds, awesome hot tub and the most amazing lake view. The communication with owners was amazing! We enjoyed the kayaks and hanging on the private dock! Cannot wait to come back!!!

Great mini vacay!

This cabin was just what our family needed to get away for a few days. Not far from Garden of the Gods, horseback riding, Paducah, and Metropolis. A very relaxing time!

Relaxing Stay

Great spot on the lake. My partner and I visited Brookport last year and decided to bring family this year so we decided to rent this bigger cabin. No issues at all with the stay and had everything we needed.

We had a great time and also managed to keep a teenager entertained! The bonus of the included wi-fi helped with that. Love all the wild life. The flock of geese likes this property and they will probably be in the yard each morning. Would suggest to any nature lovers.

Lake Hohman “Home Away from Home”

We loved our stay with our grandkids at the Hohman Lake cabin - the house was very clean & well stocked with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing & swimming in the lake, the wonderful screened in porches & the hot tub! We have stayed at other places in the area & this is our favorite so far - hope to come back! 😊
