Another great week at 8 Bessbill in Ogunquit! Just perfect for our three generations family. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Dierdre, the owner, is responsive and easy to work with. The location is great -- walking distance to town, the beach, the Marginal Way and Perkins Cove. We have stayed at this home several times. This year when my grandson arrived, he said he was so excited to be back at his home in Maine!

We came to Ogunquit as a family of 7 (all adults). The place was very clean and comfortable. It was walking distance to the beach, where we walked (with our cart) at 9:30am every morning and was able to set up our umbrella and tent by 10:00. The house is in walking distance to town (the Front Porch - our favorite haunt) is a 5 - 10 minute walk). It is also a short walk to the Marginal Way, which I highly recommend. It is also minutes from the Playhouse, In the morning, I'd sit on the backyard porch to read. Deirdre was a superb host and communicated with all questions within an hour. All in all, this was a great find, and a wonderful place to stay.

Five perfect days and nights in Ogunquit- Summer2025

Everything about the house was perfect! The proximity to the beach, downtown and Perkins Cove is what we sought, but this house offered so much more! My family and I would definitely return next year, if Deirdre would have us! It was definitely a stay worth remembering, that’s for certain!
