Convenient stay in a quiet neighbourhood

We had a lovely stay in this spacious apartment. It was quiet at night and was conveniently located in walking distance of Edinburgh's sights.

Great New Town stay

Excellent flat in Newtown/Stockbridge area. We really enjoyed staying at Jackie’s apartment, which was extremely close to coffee shops, restaurants, and the sites of Edinburgh were in walking distance (although the walk to Old Town involved some hills in both directions!). The apartment was comfortable, with a separate bedroom, and bathroom ohh the center hallway which allowed us some quiet separation when one of us wanted to stay up later. Amenities were all good, and Jackie was extremely responsive. Despite an issue with the brand new washing machine, Jackie immediately sent her manager over to try to fix the problem, and when she couldn’t, she insisted on taking care of our laundry herself. Thank you, Carole! The bed was quite comfortable. there was enough sitting space for the two of us in the living room and the kitchen table and 2 chairs were adequate. The neighborhood was absolutely charming, whether we went to the Stockbridge part of town, including the lovely Royal Botanic Garden in easy walking distance, or towards Old Town. The street was very quiet. Getting down the stairs to the flat requires a bit of caution. Overall a really excellent stay!

Beautiful apartment Close to all the amenities, beautifully equipped.

Lovely apartment, modern and comfortable but retaining some original features which give it real character, well equipped kitchen, and it was lovely to have toiletries in the bathroom along with a lovely big shower and what we think was a super king size bed . The apartment is an easy walk to train station, (Wear comfy shoes as it is hilly) and attractions, you’ve got places like Tesco and Sainsbury’s express shops all within a short walk. Had a fantastic stay, worked perfectly for us., could not have been better. Just to note though, the description doesn’t note that this is a basement flat, (not that I’ve spotted anyway) the steps down are quite narrow and uneven, we were fine but probably not great if you have limited mobility. As we were there at a weekend we were able to benefit from free parking on the street, however parking is quite limited and it will cost you up to £24 a day. You can only park for four hours at a time before you are required to move the car, so you are far better to go by train if you’re going during the week. We didn’t meet the owner but we got very prompt responses to questions which was really helpful. Would definitely recommend the apartment and we would certainly go again if we are heading to Edinburgh.

Edinbough New Town Apartment

Very professional interaction with host. Great location away from the crowds but still walking distance to Royal Mile. Lots to do within a few blocks of the location including very good local restaurants.

Excellent location and apartment

We loved staying here. The location was brilliant...close enough to Princes Street and the Royal Mile that we didn't need a car and far enough away that we weren't impacted by nighttime city noise. Nice clean neighbourhood. The apartment was great. Lots of space to spread out; cooked our own meals in the well kitted out kitchen. Washing machine in apartment. Clean, quiet. Fast responses from host. Easy check in with pincode. Basement with sloped stairs access. Fine for us but not great if there are mobility issues. Overall, we loved this place and would stay there again if back in Edinburgh.

Great spacious sub ground apt

The property was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Large foyer and well lit for a sub level apartment. Virtually no communication with Jackie aside from email regarding entry. My only negative comment is that the fabric on the sofa is stained and dirty. The location was excellent with a short walk to the city center.

Wonderful apartment in great location

Really lovely apartment in a brilliant location. No more than a 10 minute walk straight up to Princes Street where you’ll start with all of Edinburgh’s central attractions. Being that short distance out of the centre makes it beautifully quiet. The apartment is spacious for a one bedroom, very clean and modern, and has all of the necessities for a very comfortable stay, including a comfortable king size bed. Jackie was highly responsive from initial enquiry to check out. Absolutely no problems. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit.

Home away from Home!

This flat was perfect and included all the amenities that we could have hoped for. It was close to all of the sites we wanted to see yet far enough away to enjoy quiet evenings when we didn't stay out till the wee hours! The bus stop was just down the block so getting to Old Town and to Waverly Train Station (for day trips beyond Edinburgh) was a breeze - no need to rent a car. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly for couples visiting Edinburgh!

Fantastic location

Apartment well equipped and blocks from visitor attractions. Shops, stores everything you need in walking distance. Apartment was clean and very comfortable. We prefer a firmer mattress, but for most would not be a problem. Walkable to bus and train. Jackie very helpful if you need anything.

Great location and lovely apartment

We couldn't have been happier with this rental. It was everything we expected and then some. The apartment was clean & modern and the neighborhood was lovely. Jackie was so helpful even before we checked in. We took a day trip to the Highlands, celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary there, we enjoyed great food & fun all around the city of Edinburgh. We would recommend this property to friends and releatives.

We loved this lower level flat, near to bus and city. It was spacious with comfortable beds and excellent shower. Lots of tourist information on table. We loved the key box entry system for flat. Love our stay in Edinburgh!

Very nice!

You will love this place! Beautifully decorated, the apartment is clean, quiet and easy to get to. The bus runs close by which made getting around Edinburgh a breeze. Jackie went well above what was expected by letting us store our bags early and allowing us free roam of the city. Thank you for a great stay!

Great stay @ New Town apartment. Great location and very quiet! Everything there you could need....2 minor things we noticed however was no freezer in the kitchen fridge and the steps down to the apartment were a little steep and not even all way down!! Need instructions on using microwave - lol! It may have been there but didn't read! Thank you, was great!!!
