3 Bedroom Cottage with feel of being in nature.

Summary:
Newly constructed unique cottage includes three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, covered porch with dining table, grill and a firepit. Very secluded property with lots of mature trees but still close to shopping and attractions. The Cottage is located behind the main house on the right side but is completely separate from the main house. It has dedicated parking and space to relax and enjoy nature. The driveway for the cottage is shared with the main house.

The Space:
The cottage offers one Master bedroom with a King bed with an ensuite bathroom. There are two other bedrooms with Queen beds and a full bathroom in the hallway. All bedrooms have tv's. There's a covered porch to sit and relax under, a grill for cooking out and a firepit to enjoy evenings outside. The driveway for the cottage is shared with the main house. Once you turn in you will see a sign the says WESLEY COTTAGE with an arrow showing you to stay to the right and you will see the cottage and your parking area.

Guest Access:
Key Pad is located on the backdoor which is located around the side under the covered porch. When you walk up you see two double doors keep
going around to the side. Located on the door is the key pad. To light it up touch the bottom left corner and then put in your code. You should
receive check in info 48 hours before check in. If you don't please let me know.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet and peaceful three acre lot with neighbors on each side of the house but spacious enough for privacy.

Other Things to Note:
Guest have access to all space around the cottage. the tennis court is for kids to play on.

Property Mgmt provided the incorrect code for entering; we arrived close to midnight and was provided the correct code after attempts to contact the appropriate person.Pets were welcome, beds and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen, all floors and living room area were not clean at all. Property was nice, nature vibe as advertised.

The property was perfect for what we needed - three bedroom, two bathroom for four adults and two teenagers and the pup. Plenty of room for the pup's crate (55lb so XL crate). I very much appreciated the Keurig and coffee plus all of the available accoutrements. The house was clean and welcoming. The yard was great for the dog. The only hiccup we had was that we were provided the wrong code for the door. I'd advised this was going to be an incredibly late arrival of 1-2am so getting there after a 7 hour drive and not being able to get into the house for five back-to-back calls was a bit frustrating.

This was our second stay at the cottage while visiting family in the area. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and it was convenient to get groceries and takeout. The plus side of the home is that it is pet friendly. Mike, the host, was super responsive to our questions. We will certainly stay at the cottage again when we return to the area in the future.

Very comfortable modern home.. everything was there. Love the fire pit outside… very peaceful and quiet. Mike the host was very accommodating… very friendly and goes above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Definitely will be coming back!

We really liked the Wesley Cottage. It was beautiful and in great share and clean. The only negative would the the boxed out area in the bathroom that is filthy on top and when we opened the kitchen drawers there was garbage and crumbs. Also, the ceiling fan light in the master bedroom didn’t work. And even though the bedrooms didn’t have closets we really appreciated the bars to hang clothes in. Would def stay again!

Rooms clean. Beds comfortable Communication with the host was helpful. When we checked in, There was a note on the french doors in the kitchen stating "do not the use" as it was broken. Housekeeping could pay more attention to little details. We only used coffee cups during our stay & washed them by hand until just before check out. That's when we discovered that the previous guests loaded their dirty dishes (glasses, bowls, plates) but did not run the dishwasher. The gas grill was filthy(glad we didn't plan to use it) & the grilling utensils were laying on the ground in the dirt. The Toilet brush in the hall bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Remote for fan & Ceiling light in master bedroom doesnt work. The wall switch turned the fan on, but no light. Found a chipped drinking glass in the cupboard. We left it on the table with a note. Coffee maker wouldnt make a full large cup & it needs a thorough cleaning. Luckily we brought our own coffee maker. The lights over the table dont work. Body wash in the master shower was empty. Not everybody uses smart tvs or streaming so Instructions was using them would be helpful.

Tami, Thank you for your feedback. I would like to address some of the concerns you mentioned. First, check-in begins at 4:00 PM. When guests arrive significantly early and enter while the cleaners are still working, it can create pressure for them to finish quickly so the property can be made available sooner than scheduled. While this is not an excuse for the items you mentioned being overlooked, it can contribute to details occasionally being missed that would normally be caught during their standard cleaning process. Regarding the door, the previous guest had damaged one of the doors. The cleaners left a note on it to prevent its use until it could be repaired. The main entrance door was fully functional and intended to be used during your stay. As for the chipped glass, when guests wash dishes and return them to the cabinets, damaged items can occasionally go unnoticed by both our cleaning team and management. Once we become aware of such issues, we remove and replace them. The smart TVs have generally been easy for guests to operate, and we have not previously received requests for additional instructions. However, we appreciate the feedback and will consider whether adding instructions would be helpful. The other issues you mentioned have been addressed, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Feedback helps us continue improving the experience for future guests. Thank you again for your stay and for taking the time to share your comments.

First North Carolina Trip

We stayed at the cottage while visiting family friends in Monroe, NC. The cottage was secluded and a fun place to stay for several nights. The cottage more than accommodated the three of us. Wedding Weekend Retreat

This is a fantastic property. Clean and cozy, super cute, and has all of the amenities. Loved the feeling of being secluded and in the woods even when it is so close to local stores and other venues. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. It's a great location and we will definitely be back!
