Wonderful place to spend some time

Great communication from the owners. Easy directions to find the place. Good location. Easy check-in process. A good amount of space for five people. Property was clean and as advertised. Would definitely look to stay there again if I was in the area.

Pleasant, quiet stay

Everything was excellent and as described. Loved the labeling of the lights and doors explaining how to lock. Excellent communication with owners. We had a lovely time and would recommend to others.

Wonderful stay!

Oh my goodness, can’t say enough good things about our stay here! Super clean, cozy, and very well stocked. Coffee on the porch in the mornings was delightful, the bed were comfy, and we truly enjoyed every minute. Very appreciative of the communication from the host as well. We will be back!

Lovely family gathering

Our family of six and pooch enjoyed our stay at peaceful Mingary. The home is conveniently located, well equipped to make meals, and clean. A great place for our busy family to come together and relax.

Just as described.

The place is just as pictured, if not nicer. Excellent location, very safe. Would stay here again, however there aren’t towels for bathing so make sure you bring your own!

Beautiful and peaceful

Very quaint and extremely well kept. It was in the perfect location for our group. When make our arrangements and checking in the owners we’re very friendly. We would love to stay here again for the same time next year.

This made girls trip 10x better

This property was just what we were looking for our getaway weekend! A secluded spot that was close to all the amenities that Door County offers. Communication was smooth, the property kept up and overall just an amazing home for a couple of days.

Fall Getaway in Door County

We spent 7 wonderful nights at the beautiful Mingary cottage. The property is somewhat secluded, but close enough to be just a short drive from all Door County has to offer! There was not one thing that we needed, that was not provided. I cannot say enough about the wonderful porch! Sitting outside with a cup of coffee, a book, or a glass of wine was relaxing, as well as beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer and the turkeys in the yard. The beds were comfortable, the grill was in like new condition, as was the washer and dryer. We loved the home and can't wait to return next year!

Great Stay

Wonderful place to stay! We loved the quiet location of the of the property. The house was very clean and more than enough room for five adults and one dog. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Towels would have been helpful, but we would definitely stay there again.

Mingary rates very high with us

We've stayed in many different places in Door County and must say this was one of the best. It was as described--clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and well-located. It's located in a very peaceful setting about 1/2 mile off Hwy 42 on Orchard Road in Ephraim. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch ... and, well, just everything. Our Scottie enjoyed it, too.

Great cottage near Ephraim and Sister Bay

This wonderful cottage is on a quiet, secluded lot. It is a short drive to both Ephraim and Sister Bay. It was perfect for kids and adults.

Amazing Stay in Ephraim

I loved my week at the Mingary Cottage! The home was full of light, had soft, comfortable furniture, and great views. My dog loved running around in the front yard. Janell and Kevin were quick to respond to questions and personable. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Door County!

Wonderful Stay

Cottage was great! Well stocked, lots of room, very quiet and great location. Range and refrigerator were nice with plenty of room for lots of food. Spacious living room, tv had everything and wood burning fireplace was very cozy. Exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful but also so close to Ephraim and Sister Bay and a short drive to Egg Harbor. Great host as well!! Very helpful and informative about the property.

Amazing House

We loved our weeklong stay at the Mingary. The house is beautiful, the kitchen well stocked with nice appliances and dishes, pans etc. The location of the house is so convenient to shopping, hiking, orchards etc. yet it feels like you're in the middle of the woods. Lots of good birding right from the living room too!

The perfect spot!

This spot was perfect in so many ways. It was centrally located to all the things we love to see and do in Door County. It was quiet and peaceful, with no major traffic or crowd disturbances, just the deer passing by on occasion. It had all the amenities we needed for family breakfasts and dinners together, and provided separate spaces for each contingent of our family (grandparents, parents and children) to have a relaxing and private retreat from each other when necessary. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Charming cottage in perfect location!

The property was cuter in person than in the pictures! My family with 3 kids and 2 dogs fit with room to spare. We ate meals on the large wrap around porch in the evening with lavender landscaping as our backdrop. The location to the beach, restaurants, state park and shopping couldn’t have been better! My only suggestion for the owners is to invest in bath towels. It’s hard to pack those as well as everything else! Otherwise, exceptional property, good communication with the owners, 5 star stay.

We are so pleased to share our vacation home with our guests! In the future, when our kids are grown and we can relax our work schedule, we hope to be able to enjoy a lot more time in Door County. For now, we'll take what time we can and use the rest to share this home with others.
