Broadkill Beach! Have you ever wanted to stay in a lighthouse? Here is your chance! This home was built to the exact replica of the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse in Annapolis, MD. The panoramic views of the Delaware Bay and Prime Hook Refuge will leave you amazed! This very unique home includes numerous artifacts from the area and decor from a tug boat. A perfect place to make family memories for years to come! The floor plan includes and open kitchen and living area on the first floor with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with shower. The second floor includes 3 bedrooms, a den and a second full bath with shower. The third floor gives you access to the top deck of the home where the views are stunning! Did we mention...the home is steps to the beach and a stones throw from the Beach Plum State Park.

The owner will accept pets with a $300 non-refundable pet fee for each pet- Dogs Only. Breed restrictions- No dangerous breeds accepted. Dangerous breeds include- Boxer, American Bulldogs, American Pit Bull Terriers, Huskies, Doberman Pinchers, Chow Chow, Rottweilers.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $247.50.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Fabulous spot for a long, beach weekend. The light house is cute and charming with beautiful views. For small kids, this is just a short walk to the beach. Loved it and will be back!

We love this home. This was our 3rd year and it’s such a great location. The views and the wildlife alone make it such an enjoyable place. We love the sunsets and how quiet the beach is. We also enjoy the proximity to Lewes and Rehoboth.

This house has the most incredible views that you will get in Broadkill. We spent our mornings on the top deck watching birds and drinking coffee; then our evenings watching the sunset over the marsh. There are incredible beach views. Easy walk over to the beach. Recently updated and much bigger than the listing makes it look. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Vacation Spot

Wonderful week spent at the beach. Only a 5 min walk to the beach. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Beautiful views from every area of the house.

Lovely quiet location

If you don't want the crowds of ocean city, this place is perfect. The sounds of the blackbirds on the edge of the wetlands was a perfect bonus. Bring bug spray, but otherwise this place is perfect for those who like the quiet. The outdoor shower was a life saver.

Best view on the beach.

The house was much bigger than we expected. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice. Although we had a couple storms, there was no better place than surrounding by the big windows to watch the rain and lightening. 4th of July fire works were breathtaking to watch from the top.

Vacation 2025

This is our 5th year vacationing here. We absolutely love it! Sleeping arrangements are a little different being only room for twin beds in the upstairs rooms but we make it work. The owner is very nice and was willing to work with us and our dogs. Easy walk to the beach. Great location being on the end of the road. Very quiet and tons of views and wildlife. Sunsets are amazing. We will continue to return every year for as long as it's available.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While this location may not be for everyone, we thoroughly enjoyed the somewhat remote location. It provided privacy and gorgeous views of both the nearby beach and preserve. We suggest making use of the ceiling fan at the top of the steps on the second floor. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful

The overall stay in this house was great! I loved seeing the selenite crystals all over the first floor to cleanse and clear the energies. There was sand all over the floor and the couch when we got there, but it wasn’t a huge deal for me to run the vacuum while my husband unloaded the truck. We did end up buying fly starters too because the house was riddled with flies upon our arrival and we only just got them all cleared out the second to last day we stayed. I’m assuming someone left a door open before our arrival. The property does have a rinse off shower station below the deck with the hose, but there is no privacy curtain, which was fine for our needs of being able to rinse the sand off with warm water before going into the house to shower. The showers are pretty tiny, but we made it work with our small children. If you have small children, bring a gate(s) for the stairs, night lights and outlet covers. The views were absolutely amazing with all of the windows and the top tower deck. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need and was organized so you aren’t searching everywhere for something. Overall, it was a wonderful and unique stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi there, the house was comfortable and bigger than we thought. We did have an issue with some an insect hatching in the upstairs bathroom and there were thousands of bugs all over the entire ceiling and walls. We did call and a contractor was sent over, he checked the vents but said that the bugs were attracted to the light. We were very disturbed by the situation as there were so many of them and we had an infant and we were worried as to the safety of having them in the house. As a result half my family left 3 days early and my mom and I left first thing friday morning. So it was upsetting as we were really looking forward to our stay. The realtor responded to my call, it is just that nothing really was done and we just had to deal with the situation and we could not. Additionally, you could not be on the beach as the biting flies were brutal.
