Husbands birthday trip

Everything was very clean. Checkin was simple. Very quiet. Comfy bed. Steep set of stairs leading up to apartment, which Iwasnt expecting. Maybe I overlooked it in the description of the property. All else was as advertised. Price was good. We spent most of our day in Benezette hoping to see the elk. Would stay there again

We loved this spacious apartment on the upstairs level of a vintage farmhouse. The king bed was very comfortable. The spaces (bedroom, foyer/hall, living room, kitchen and bathroom) were clean with all the amenities needed for a lovely weekend away. Judah (owner) was terrific and communicated regularly. Just down the road from the house (about 2 minutes away) was a lovely pub and restaurant- The Pour. Lots of tap or bottled drinks and great food. The bartender (Tristan I think) was amazing. So fun to meet locals in St. Mary and sit at the bar for dinner. We shared hot pepper cheese balls as an appetizer and the Cuban panini with onion petals and a side of cowboy candy (pickled jalapenos). They have rotating local/seasonal beers to try which was so fun. In town, the Straub brewery and tour is really cool! The apartment is only 25-30 minutes from Benezette. This is a must do in the area. A very cute town with the Elk Life and Bugling Bull gift shops. The Benezette visitor center is lots of fun and the best place to see elk in early morning or early evening in the fall. I highly recommend staying at this apartment to explore the area. It was private and quiet with our own off-street parking spot behind the house with a side entrance. We had a great time. Thank you, Judah!
