Pet friendly, cozy getaway - 10 min to Holden Beach

3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home recently remodeled.

10 minutes to Main Street in the heart of Shallotte or 10 minutes to Holden Beach (subject to change with thick traffic in summer time). Located off of Shell Point Road, the area being surrounded by Shallotte River.

Plenty of parking if you are needing to bring a few vehicles or a boat.

Dog friendly!

Our family uses this home to visit the area periodically throughout the year. The house is nestled among other mobile homes occupied mostly by full time residents that live and work in the area.

Please bring your own towels for the beach!

We do have a washer and dryer in the home that can be used.

Sofa and love seat have recliners for relaxing after a long day at the beach.

Shallotte is close to several local beaches and home to some great local restaurants.

We are roughly 45 minutes to either North Myrtle Beach or Wilmington.

Comfortable and has everything you need while away!

The property was well-decorated and beds were comfortable! The location is only about 10 minutes away from Holden Beach. The property owner was easy to reach by VRBO message , but we did not have any issues during our stay. We Will be back!

Review

This mobile home is a cozy environment offering three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is child friendly with board games provided and is fit to size for young adults/ children. There is a master room with a full bathroom where the other two rooms offer a bed and a separate bathroom in the hallway. A full kitchen is provided as well. To enter, there are a few steps onto a deck, those with modified physical needs may want to consider this. The area is in a neighborhood of other mobile homes; this may be different for those seeking a different neighborhood scenery. The home is about 10- 15 minutes away from main roads / attractions but is an easy drive through the roads. Overall, the place was convenient to town and accommodated our basic needs. The communication with the hosts were fantastic and prompt. In the hot weather, the one thing we noticed was one of the bedrooms feeling much warmer in spite of AC flow. Again, please consider needing to walk up a few deck steps as these are a bit weathered down. This sleeps upto 6; for larger parties or need for more space, this may not be a fit for your travel needs.
