Take in gorgeous river views in this well-equipped, unique, kid-friendly home with endless amenities, and custom-crafted decor. This riverfront retreat is less than 10 min from Kilmarnock and Irvington, 15 min from White Stone, a 10 min kayak to the Rappahannock River and a 30 min boat trip to the Chesapeake Bay.

Lovely place at the river!

This house is absolutely adorable, and the owners have done a wonderful job with adding lots of thoughtful touches (plenty of towels and bedding, comfortable mattresses, well stocked kitchen, etc). We really enjoyed our time together at this cottage, and we would absolutely go again!

Wonderful Vacation Rental

This is a wonderful place for a relaxing get away. There are things to do in the local area and kayaks to enjoy at the dock. It was a very clean and beautiful place.

Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Dock was beautiful and had kayaks for use. I had my morning coffee on the dock watching the fish jump out of the water so beautiful and tranquil. Would definitely return for another visit!

The best in town!

We have stayed in Irvington several times and have always stayed at the Tides Inn. This is the first time that we “strayed away” and stayed at a home in the area and we definitely scored with this place! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for the lovely stay! We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful!

This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! The house was absolutely adorable and as pictured. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but not far from the conveniences of groceries, gas, and entertainment. Even though they provide kayaks, we brought our own and enjoyed the peaceful nature all around. We couldn't have asked for a better week!

Lovely house on a creek

The house is even nicer than the pictures suggest and everything seems newly renovated. Great floor plan with an open kitchen/dining/living room on the right and the bedrooms on the left. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and organized. It was easy to check in and check out and easy to communicate with Lindsay and Randy. The bed was comfortable and all linens were fresh and plentiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away to the Northern Neck!

Beautifully Renovated

What a fun getaway for our family of 4! The Pearly Oyster is a beautifully renovated property tucked away on a quiet cove. Thoughtfully stocked, the property has everything you could ever need for a fun weekend away! The raw wood bar on the back porch was a great place to hang out all day and watch as our kids took turns on the kayaks. Super close to all of the things the Northern Neck offers, we were able to take advantage of Compass Entertainment Complex, Camp, The Chesapeake Doughnut Company, and downtown Kilmarnock with a short and easy car ride. 10/10 - will absolutely be back!

Perfect for a couple, with or without the kids!

My wife and I visited the Pearly Oyster as a getaway without the kids, but we quickly knew we'd be back with them in tow. The location on a beautiful, quiet cove with shallow water is the perfect setting for them to explore in the provided kayaks. The house itself is open, spacious, and super comfy. Lindsay was highly communicative, and actually told me they bought and renovated this property themselves. The kitchen stands out for sure, but everything in the house was exceptionally well designed and executed, all the way down to the decor. We're already planning on going back in the summer as a family!

This cozy river cottage features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, perfect for two families at a time. The living area is open to the kitchen with an amazing back deck for gazing at the river early in the morning with a coffee or late at night with a cocktail. There are many amenities throughout the home such as a fully-stocked kitchen, beach towels, plenty of linens and blankets, brand new appliances and a wood-burning fireplace. The primary suite features beautiful river views and a newly tiled, relaxing shower. The outdoors feature a giant composite deck overlooking the water complete with comfy seating, a live edge bar top, a flat top grill, kayaks, life jackets and waterfront access via the private dock.
