Lake front fun and relaxation

Welcome to our cozy home on Lake o’ the Pines! Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and fishing opportunities. Keep an eye out for abundant deer and bald eagles. Our home features a huge deck facing the lake, perfect for relaxing. Please note that the front of the house is not scenic, but most guests enjoy the back deck with the view of the lake. The remodeled home features new furniture and appliances, memory foam beds, a full kitchen, and a coffee bar for your comfort. Grill delicious food on the gas grill and gather around the gas fire pit for a cozy evening. If you’re feeling adventurous, historic Jefferson, TX is just a short drive away. We hope you enjoy your stay!

We value your expectations and reviews, and we want to make sure you have a comfortable stay. While the view from the front of the house may not be scenic, we have a back deck that most of our guests enjoy, which offers a beautiful view of the lake. As this is a lakefront property, there may be flying insects and spider webs outside, especially at certain times of the year. Direct access to lake is available behind property next door. We own this property and you are welcome to walk behind it. Most of this land is public "US Army Corps of Engineers" (USACE). The shoreline is beautiful with millions of clam shells that look like white rocks from a distance. Details on lake access will be in the welcome book in the home and a video of the path is online at https://youtu.be/PTb0qmbP5-E. Please inform us of any issues when you arrive so we may address it. Access was easy, the amenities were excellent! I felt at home. The host is very accommodating. I can’t wait to come back! The photos do not do it justice it’s much nicer than I expected.

It was a good choice to save money because it was very affordable. The deck would have been nice to enjoy the view, but it was too hot and muggy.. no one's fault, obviously! We decided on this location to have a laid back few days but ended up shopping and eating in Gladewater and Jefferson instead, which was lots of fun!

Charming Lake Front House

Absolutely wonderful location close to the lake a charming little “cabin“ very quiet an excellent place to relax we really enjoyed our 10th anniversary fishing, sleeping and eating in this quiet little place. We would highly recommend not only this little cabin, but this Owner who has a few properties on this site

Family Reunion

Three sisters stayed in this lovely lakeside home while we attended our family reunion at nearby Johnson Creek Recreation Campground. We appreciated the many thoughtful extra touches and we hope to stay here again. Very nice!

Lovely lake view

The sheets were soft. The bed was comfortable. And it was clean. Lighting is harsh. Toilet seat in the second bathroom was loose to the point of sliding almost off.The entry was dangerous for older people bc of the steep angle of the gravel path from the driveway to the front steps. Out back, the rail is rickety. The grill was so dirty that we didn't use it. We could not check in at 3:00 bc the maid didn't finish til at least 4:00.We did actually enjoying the beauty of the lake, our conversation, and nature.For older people because it had

KYKX BBB VACATION

10/10 I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND,,,,This was the PERFECT back home country getaway for usWe came from Virginia to complete in the KYKX Big Bass Tournament. This place was absolutely perfect for us and our sweet Zena (huge 55 lb puppy) she had plenty of room to run a play.I am from Texas so all of our kids and grandkids came Saturday we grilled on the back porch and they enjoyed swimming in the lake for the day.This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city lifePerfect back home country lake get away for us.We will definitely be back!

Peaceful retreat

The home is a peaceful and serene area very close to the lake. We spent a lot of time walking the area, enjoying nature. We spent one afternoon in Jefferson, which is only 30 minutes away. The beds were comfortable, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in each shower were convenient. The kitchen had most of the items we needed, and the Ninja coffee maker was excellent. We were sad to leave and are already planning a trip back!

Great place to stay while fishing for the weekend

Went bass fishing everyday. Close to the ramps and even backs up to the lake with a beautiful view.

The Views, and Quiet Were Most Excellent.

The cabin was spacious, and stood in front of a beautiful lake view. There were three bed rooms in total, and two bathrooms so enough space for more than two people. The main room had a beautiful view of the lake, however there was another window next to the restroom that was frosted and at night sometimes scary. The quiet was absolutely peaceful, and so were the views. There were not many people around, it was secluded and a fantastic getaway.

Very nice . All great appliances. Well equipped kitchen . Comfortable beds . Fantastic view from back deck . Went to the town of Jefferson which was so much fun . A must see when you stay here. Recommend this place for a great stay .
