Holland Estate

Welcome to Holland Estate! You will love this spacious home located less than 5 minutes from The Ark Encounter; we are a short drive from The Creation Museum. Close to Lexington, Cincinnati and Louisville.

As you walk in from the circle driveway, you enter the foyer of this lovely home on the main floor. To the right are bedrooms 1 and 2 as well as bathroom 1 (bathroom 1 is a private, attached bathroom to bedroom 1). To the left are bedrooms 3,4, and 5, bathrooms 2 and 3, the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Bedrooms 2-5 can use the half bath (listed as bathroom 2) and bathroom 3. The balcony is on this floor and is assessable form the dining room and the master bedroom, which is listed as bedroom 1 on the platform.

Directly across from the front entryway, there is a staircase leading you to the bottom level. On this level, there is an additional living room, a sitting room perfect for games, bedrooms 6 & 7, as well as bathroom 3. Bathroom 3 is attached to bedroom 7, and bedroom 7 is attached to bedroom 6. It is also the primary bathroom for guests in these bedrooms.

There is an in-ground pool on the property as well. It is open May through Mid-October. There is extra beach towels located in the dining area for guests to use.

This is a great place to stay with a family. We had 10 adults and 6 grandkids. The Ark encounter was our main attraction which was very close by. The property is set very far off the road. We felt so safe and secluded. Beautiful scenery around us. The pool was perfect. 6 new lounge chairs were delivered just in time for us to use. The home has an easy ramp entry with no steps. Kitchen had everything and more than we expected. Two fridges was a plus because we prepared all our food while there for 3 nights. Beds slept well. Everywhere was spacious. Would book this place again with no hesitation. The host was very responsive to our needs.

Great space! Plenty of room for our big family and the pool was the star of the show for sure! Host was very attentive to some initial concerns/needs. We loved the large dining table and games. Some issues were that there were some small ants throughout the house, no lights around or in the pool for adults to hang out after dark. In addition, there was not nearly enough seating or table space by the pool. Several lounge chairs were broken as well as the one table umbrella. Some curtains and door locks on the bedrooms with French doors would increase privacy for those spaces. One main floor bedroom had 2 solid doors but no locks. The screened in porch off of the kitchen needed swept/vacuumed as there were many cob webs and spiders. We didn’t expect these various issues/inconveniences for nearly 1000/night.

Wonderful home for family reunion.

My husband and I and our three children with their families had a wonderful time at this spacious home. We visited the Ark Encounter (just down the road) and the Creation Museum. We had a wonderful time.

Great family get away

This is in an ideal remote location. No one but the grounds keeper was seen or heard from during our stay. The grandkids really enjoyed the well kept and clean pool. Would highly recommend this for family get aways.

Great trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great and accommodated our family of 15 very well. The house is very roomy and had everything we needed. We visited The Ark and the Creation Museum and loved both!

All that you need

Great location! Kitchen has two griddles which was perfect for cooking breakfast. Pool was perfect entertainment for the student’s too! Needs were a little firm but ok. Great visit!

Perfect for large family

Youth Trip

We needed a place to stay for our group to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This home had the best accommodations. It was very clean, check- in was a breeze, and a beautiful property. The pool was great and all of the bedrooms and extra space worked wonderfully for our group! Thank you!
