With 10-11’ ceilings and 1000 sf, this sunny apartment is the second floor of an 1860’s log cabin. Completely updated with new floors, paint, fixtures and more, it’s a perfect retreat from the city. Explore the adjoining 1,000 acres of state forest, with public lake and boat launch across the street for fishing and paddling. The adjacent trail leads right the Parnell Segment of the Ice Age trail and Mauthe Lake State Park. Unit not recommended for toddlers or young children.

GGG was everything we needed and wanted. A great winterscape for a holiday unwind. Walked on the ice covered lake, cooked a surf and turf dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, streamed movies, and had great nights sleep on the super comfy bed. Vinny greeted me every morning with a slobbery hello and we loved reading all the hand written visits in the journal from other guests. Super clean apartment and our hosts were very responsive throughout the process. We can’t wait to visit in the fall for bonfires, star gazing, and autumn colors. Carrie, please keep up the great place.

This is our second visit to this quaint, cozy upper. We love the quiet location. It is close to the parks and bike trails. The hosts provide all the essentials to make your stay pleasant and carefree.

Beautiful property. Clean, with many amenities. We would highly recommend. While the apartment gets plenty of natural light during the day, those who enjoy reading at night may have difficulty, as most of the lighting is too dim.

Relaxing Fun

We had a very nice time. The apartment is very well played out, including a nice seating area outside. We grilled and had a fire as well. Carrie one of the owners was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. There’s many things to do with in a half hours drive. We highly recommend this stay

Absolutely perfect! Cabin was super clean and cozy. It’s tucked away, but still not far from restaurants or a grocery store. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Great communication from the owners. We came up for a race at Road America and the drive from this cabin was beautiful. No traffic, no busy highways. It was a wonderful trip for my husband and me! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great spot in Kettle Moraine

The apartment is a lovely place to stay at for hiking and skiing in the Kettle Moraine Northern Unit. It’s cozy and clean, and the host is very welcoming and helpful! Will definitely go back for our next visit!

This property has a great location. Easy access to bicycling trails. The home had everything we needed for our stay. It was comfortable and welcoming. We are trying to find a way back to see the fall colors!

Clean quite great hiking.

Nice upstairs apartment right on the Kettle Morain scenic drive. Easy accees to Hiking on the Ice Age trail. The Kettle moraines are beautiful.

Great location for outdoors activities

The apartment was very nicely furnished and equipped. We were surrounded by beauty. The stay was quiet and relaxing. The only down side was, we were there during extream heat and the two air conditioners were just not adequate to cool the place down at night. I'm sure this was an extream situation and not the norm.

Amazing property and location

My husband and I had a short getaway. This place was at the perfect location for all the activities and places we wanted to go. The ice age trail is pretty much in the back yard, as well as, other trails. We enjoyed ice cream and burgers at hamburger haus down the road. The coffee house “3 sweets bakery and cafe” was so good! We enjoyed exploring Fon du lac and Sheboygan. Went to a brewers game and explored Milwaukee which was not too long of a drive. This place is perfectly located to get to many areas and the owners are super sweet! I would highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin accommodations in Kettle Moraine

My sister and I stay at the cabin over the weekend. We both wish we could have stayed longer. The place was quiet, private and easy to find. Everything was amazingly clean and comfortable. Our hosts have invested a lot into this property, and it shows. The cabin is located above the main floor, so you need to be comfortable with stairs. Keep this in mind when planning how much luggage to bring. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and two windows. The other sleeping area has a futon in a smaller room adjacent to the bathroom. The futon was a bit firm for our liking, and could use a 3" topper. But it would be fine for kids or young adults. There's also a very nice sitting area with a large screen TV and skylights, in addition to a kitchen/eating area. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the Kettle Moraine area!

Stayed here to hike and enjoy the stars. The property is perfect. Centrally located for the northern unit and the night sky was spectacular. Very clean, warm and cozy. I can’t wait to go back!!

Our stay at GGG was the perfect peaceful, cozy place we needed while visiting family in Campbellsport. It was clean, directions were clear, and we had our own driveway, entry, and privacy which we really appreciated. We would come back!

My husband and I are nature lovers who fell upon this property while hiking the Ice Age Trail during the pandemic. The former 1860's log cabin had been converted to a bar/restaurant since the 1950's and had been closed for 4 years when we found it for sale. We converted the restaurant into our forever-home and the former bar manager's apartment has been restored to a lovely cozy apartment just for friends and guests!

Seated in the middle of Wisconsin's Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest, surrounded by 500 acres of state owned land, this is a "up-north" getaway yet less than an hour to Milwaukee. Forest Lake is across the street, Mauthe Lake and State park are to the west, a snow-mobile trail is at the back property line, and the Ice Age Trail (IAT) is less than 0.25 mile away.

A very peaceful place on the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive, we have acres to explore, great for mushroom foraging, lakes for paddling and fishing, horseback riding nearby, ski and snowmobile trails in the area. Restaurants and a few outdoor music venues are nearby as well. So much to do!
