Enjoy Colorama Hikes! Cozy Warm A-Frame Retreat! Kayaking, & Roaring Campfires!

There’s something special about welcoming people into a space where they can relax, laugh, and connect. For me, hosting isn’t just about setting up a campfire or preparing a meal—it’s about creating moments people remember. Whether it’s a backyard barbecue, a mountain campsite, or a cozy cabin gathering, I find joy in bringing others together and sharing the things I love most: nature, fresh air, and the peaceful simplicity of the outdoors.

I’ve always been drawn to the wild. There’s a kind of magic in casting a line into a still lake at dawn, the world silent except for the soft splash of water. Fishing teaches patience and appreciation for quiet moments. Hunting, too, offers a deep connection to the land—hours of stillness, awareness, and respect for the natural world. Hiking through trails with nothing but the crunch of leaves beneath my boots reminds me how vast and beautiful the earth is, and camping under a canopy of stars makes me feel both small and at home in the universe.

Campfires are my favorite place to gather. There's something about the flicker of flames, the scent of wood smoke, and the easy way people open up in the warmth of a fire. Some of my best memories are from nights like those—laughing with family, telling stories, watching the stars emerge one by one. I love sunrises and sunsets, each one a reminder to pause and appreciate the moment. And there’s nothing like a full moon lighting up the woods, casting silver shadows and making the night feel alive.

Hosting is my way of sharing that feeling. I love seeing people connect over coffee at dawn, or share stories under moonlight. Whether it’s showing someone a favorite trail or teaching them how to roast the perfect marshmallow, I’m in my element. It’s not just about the outdoors

There’s a calm, quiet charm to the neighborhood that’s hard to put into words—but you feel it the moment you arrive. It’s in the way the trees rustle with the breeze, the calls of songbirds in the morning, and the way neighbors wave from their porches or stop for a quick chat on a walk. The people here are real—genuine, friendly, and always willing to lend a hand or share a story. It’s the kind of place where community still matters, where you can leave your door open without worry and know your neighbors by name.

What I enjoy most about the neighborhood is how close it feels to nature. The sunsets here stretch out in wide bands of orange and purple, and the stars at night are clear and bright, untouched by city lights. The air smells like pine and fresh earth, and the rhythm of life moves just a bit slower—more intentional, more peaceful. Whether it’s an early morning walk or an evening by the firepit, there’s always a chance to soak in something beautiful.

Growing up, I was in Boy Scouts, and some of my fondest memories are from the camp at Long Lake. Those summers shaped a lot of who I am—hiking through the woods with a backpack twice my size, learning how to tie knots, build fires, and respect the wilderness. The lake was always still in the morning, like glass, and I remember paddling across it in a canoe as the sun rose, mist rising off the water. That connection to nature never left me—it’s part of why I value this neighborhood so much. It reminds me of those days: simple, free, and full of discovery.

Now, whether I’m out fishing at a nearby pond, sitting around a campfire with family, or just watching a full moon rise over the treetops, I feel a sense of home. This place isn’t just where I live—it’s where I belong. The land, the people, the peace—it all speaks to the best parts of life!

What makes my property truly stand out is the way it blends natural beauty, comfort, and character in a way that feels both timeless and unforgettable. Perched at the top of a hill, the first thing you notice is the view—panoramic scenes of treetops stretching to the horizon, skies painted with brilliant sunrises and sunsets, and at night, a clear view of the stars and the full moon casting silver light over the landscape. It’s peaceful, private, and feels like you’re standing on your own little mountaintop.

The A-frame design gives the property a unique and welcoming charm. With its steeply pitched roof and tall windows, the building draws you in with its simple, striking architecture. There’s something about an A-frame that immediately makes people feel at home—it’s cozy, open, and invites you to relax. The high ceilings create a sense of space, while the natural wood interior gives it that warm, rustic cabin feel. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit back with a cup of coffee and just watch the world go by.

Inside, the blend of rustic materials and thoughtful details brings the outdoors in. Wood beams, soft lighting, and the subtle scent of pine give it an old-school cabin vibe, but with enough modern touches to keep things comfortable. Outside, a campfire area is perfect for gathering, telling stories, or simply enjoying the quiet sounds of nature. Whether it’s a summer night under the stars or a crisp fall morning with mist rising off the hill, every day offers something special.

But beyond the structure and the setting, what truly sets this property apart is the feeling it gives. It’s a retreat—a place to reconnect with nature, with family, and with yourself. It’s not just a cabin on a hill; it’s a place where memories are made, peace is found, and the pace of life slows just enough for you to breathe it all in!
