Welcome to Five Peaks Cottage. Stunning views of Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound. The cottage and companion pirate ship tree house are steps from the shore where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and leisurely beach walks. Loft bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, well equipped kitchen, wifi, large deck w/ hot tub, BBQ, bar. Fire pit and lawn at waters edge. On 23 acre horse farm with 510 feet of private beach and 1 1/2 miles of walking trails. Relax, enjoy eagles, blue heron, seals and an occassional Orca.
My wife and I stayed here for a week with our dog, and we loved every second of it! We had a great time with the kayaks, our dog loved chasing crabs on the beach, and you can't beat the view of sunset hitting the mountain from the hot tub every night. The owners were very communicative and made everything very easy. We're already planning to return!

The perfect respite
I needed to decompress in solitude and this was the perfect spot. The cabin feels secluded and I have a new appreciation for high tides, as it felt like I was at sea.
Upon check-in there were several thoughtful little extras: a few snacks, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid items, and extra pantry items. While the cabin and environs are strictly for the able bodied, beach access was easy and the outdoor faucet made rinsing off a snap.
The small kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need, there are plenty of towels and TP, blankets, and pillows to cozy up in the recliner, rocking chair upstairs, or if you need more warmth in bed.
The bed is a fairly firm memory foam mattress with a very warm comforter; there are fans in the bedroom and bathroom if you are a warm sleeper. I didn't experience the sleeper sofa. The wifi works great!
The toilet and sink up in the roomy sleeping loft are brilliant, I would not want to have to go down the stairs in the middle of the night to use the facilities.
The hot tub was wonderful, being able to soak and look out to the inlet or up into the trees was just what I needed.
A couple of tips: The hot tub lid is very heavy and unwieldy for 1 person; after the first time I learned my lesson and just flipped back the front half, leaving it in place so I didn't have to wrestle it back on.
Bring walking poles or sticks, the beach is very rocky and mine helped me on the wonderful trails through the woods, too.
