A true 4 Season Vacation Spot. Tucked away in a Beautiful Lakefront Community with access to our Association's Private Beach for swimming and enjoying Moose Pond, Pool, Tennis and Kayaking. Nearby hiking, fishing, golf, other lakes, mountains, music, charming town of Bridgton and so much more. Saco River (lazy river tubing), 30 minutes to North Conway and Kancamagus Highway for amazing hiking and hanging out on the river. 5 Mins to Skiing including night skiing on Pleasant Mt, Hiking, Snowshoeing, X Country Skiing, Snowmobiling access. Everything for your perfect Maine Vacation!
This cozy comfortable Cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. Whether a Family, Couples, Friends or personal getaway this cabin is perfect! Offers everything you need--having stayed at Vacation Rentals, I wanted to make sure this home offers everything I would expect.
THE CABIN: First Floor: Queen Bedroom, 1 Bunkbed room (full & twin), Open Kitchen/Dining Living for easy entertaining/gathering. Beautiful 3 season room (gas fireplace) and Screened Porch. Upstairs: One large room, Queen bed, sitting area, reading & office nook, 1/2 bath/laundry. Perfect for remote working, reading, downtime or kids area. Standup AC on 2nd floor and tower fans in rooms on 1st floor.
GREAT OUTDOOR SPACE: grilling, large picnic table, seating areas, fire pit, corn hole. Parking - there is space to park boat/trailer
PROVIDED: Free WiFi, kitchen has everything you will need: including herbs/spices, condiments, all cooking utensils, pots/pans, crock pot, roaster, blender, conventional coffee pot, blender & more.
NOTE: Fresh linens and towels are provided

SUMMER: Association Pool, Tennis, Beach, Kayaking (2 provided).
Boating/Jet Skiing, hiking, golf. Lazy river on Saco, Naples Causeway and many other lakes nearby. Charming Downtown Bridgton & more. Music on Main St, lots of other music venues nearby and Fryeburg Fair. 30 Mins to N Conway NH & Kancamagus Highway.
WINTER: 5 minutes to day/night time Skiing (Pleasant Mt) and close to other NH/Maine Ski mountains, Snow shoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling (nearby access to trails), winter hiking or X country skiing. Enjoy an evening of playing games/reading (provided)
FALL: Great base for Amazing Autumn Leaf Drives and Fall Hiking! Sitting around the fire pit a night

So grateful to the owner and her team. This cabin is located close to Fryeburg, and as our reason for coming was THE FAIR, we were delighted. The cabin is clean and very comfortably appointed. The owner was very forthcoming with helpful info for visitors. Good instructions for check-in and check-out. We would be happy to return.

We just returned from the perfect vacation at the Moose House! Location was phenomenal for access to our family's two summer camps and Michelle was a wonderful host- responsive and helpful. The house itself was really well stocked and tons of information provided about the area. The pool and beach/lake in the association were a really nice bonus. Everything was wonderful and we definitely hope to be back next summer!

Memorial Day Weekend

I love the Moose House. This was my second time staying here. It's bright, clean, with plenty of room and I LOVE the 3-season porch. It's the best place to have your morning coffee.

Cabin by Moose Pond

Michelle was very responsive and provided excellent descriptions of the property and surrounding area. This was close by everything we wanted to do. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed in terms of paper products, linens, dish soap, laundry pods, etc. Check in/out process was easy. Thanks for an amazing stay. We hope to do it again :)

Family vacation

Michelle was such a great host with sending information about the area and the effects from the storm a few days before our visit. She responded almost immediately after I messaged her. The house was so nice and the kitchen was equipped with almost everything you could ask for. One of the best things was having one full bath and a half bath, with 6 adults it really came in handy. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Michelle

Comfortable winter long weekend

We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.

excellent vacation spot

My wife and I stayed with our son and his two children, ages 7 and 9. Our grandchildren particularly loved swimming in the local pool and in Moose Pond. Our son and grandson also fished several times in Moose Pond and caught about two dozen fish, all of which were returned to the waters. A trip to StoryLand was another highlight. The rental was thoughtfully equipped and exactly as described.

Made great memories at the Moose House

We had a wonderful stay at the Moose House! It had everything you need in the kitchen and house, including cornhole which my teens loved. We loved having access to the kayaks and the beach area. We hope to return again!

Lake Vacation

A perfect lake cottage! We had access to the lake association beach and the pool. The cottage had privacy and plenty of room for our family of five. A short drive to river tubing and North Conway! It was a great week!

Ski trip!

We had a great time at this home during a recent ski trip. The location to Pleasant Mountain was very convenient and was easy to pop in and out when we wanted to day ski take a break and head back for night skiing. The house was very clean and comfortable for our stay. Wonderful trip thanks for sharing your lovely home.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We spent a long ski weekend at this property. Everything was as described in the listing. It was clean, with good sleep spaces, a nice kitchen and plenty of entertainment (games, books, tv) for a day staying in. All that and only four minutes to the mountain! Michelle was very responsive to our questions and was flexible with the check-in/out times as there were no guests immediately following our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Hi, I'm Michelle, your Host. Thank you for taking the time to check out The Moose House (named by my Nephew when he was 3). My goal is to offer you a pleasant relaxing stay. I am available to answer any questions about the home or the area/things to do (I provide a detailed list of both)
Having traveled and used Vacation Rentals, I set this up the way I would hope/expect to find a rental. I love Maine and especially the Lakes Region. So close to everything: Lakes, Skiing, NH...my Family, Friends & I find it the perfect vacation getaway. Your shoulders drop when you cross the causeway with Moose Pond on both sides, and a gorgeous view of Pleasant Mountain (formerly Shawnee Peak).
