Cabin #4 – Bear Claw Cabin (Indoor Jacuzzi, Gas Fireplace and comfy Queen bed.

The cabin features a fully equipped kitchenette (no oven), a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee pot, and a toaster. Additionally, you can enjoy the luxury of a big jacuzzi located inside of the cabin, a romantic gas fireplace, high speed satellite Wi-Fi, a flat-screen smart TV with fire stick, private charcoal grill (charcoal and starter fluid should be brought), a private picnic table, and a private porch swing. For added convenience, you also have access to two shared community propane grills (propane is provided), a common fire pit area, horseshoes, plenty of community rocking chairs placed around the property, and reserved parking.

We provide coffee, powdered creamer, sugar, salt and pepper, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, towels, and linens.

There is so much nature here!! Dozens of hiking trails! Amazing fishing spots all over the place in the 7 lakes and 5 nearby streams! The spectacular “260” trailhead is just 6 minutes away and dozens of other hiking trails even closer along Colcord Road. Woods Canyon Lake is just a few miles away with kayaks, pontoon boats and other toys for rent. It and other nearby lakes and streams also offer abundant hiking, kayaking, boating, trout & other fishing, ATV riding, mountain biking, bird watching and more. Close by Christopher Creek also has amazing fishing and hiking.
Neighborhood restaurants provide live outdoor music, dancing, pool tables, foosball, and delicious meals.

The cabin comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 1 child on the fold down futon.

Pets of all sizes are warmly welcome, with an additional flat fee we pay to housekeeping. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beds. If housekeepers cannot remove the pet smell and or hair after two cycles of washing sheets and or comforters, or if there’s any pet nail tears in the bedding, we purchase replacements out of your deposit. $85 per comforter and $55 per sheet set. We regret having to do this but please plan on bringing pet bed(s) and or kennels to manage this for your own pets so all guests (including you when you arrive for your stay) can sleep in linens free of smell or prior pet hairs.

Kittock cottage is clean, homely and perfectly situated. The garden is a great size and the proximity to St Andrews is ideal. We have had a wonderful relaxing week in a lovely part of the world.

Relaxing & Pet Friedly

We’ve been staying here for 9 years whenever we come up to Christopher Creek, the cabins do not disappoint, clean, rustic, cozy, awesome fire pit area and pet friendly. We love staying up here! It’s always so peaceful and quiet 😊

A functional and fairly comfortable cottage with excellent garden

Property was spacious, clean and functional. Garden and communal play area are lovely. Electric radiators for heating. Functionally equipped. Tiny fridge for a house sleeping six. Located on busy main road.

Fun stay

We were happy to stay here. The issues we had weren’t terrible but inconvenient. Our first night we couldn’t use the jacuzzi, it was 67 degrees and didn’t heat up til the next day. The cabin was very hot, bring an extra fan. Over all the property was very nice. Although the seating areas were very overgrown and we stuck with sitting by the fireplace. Fire wood was provided so that was super nice. We would love to stay again some time.

Beautiful

This place was really nice, I loved staying here, the location was great! And the people who also booked were friendly along with their dogs, I would stay here again! the only issues we had were, the spa wasn’t working, the TV remote was MIA lol, and the AC unit wasn’t left with a tube to connect to a window so it made it to where we had to leave our doors open to avoid it getting 90 in the room like the other cabins, but over all it wasn’t that bad because we got to fully disconnect from our normal and get fresh air (so not a huge negative for me) I Loved the outside fire pit and being able to grill and hang out with new people, super excited to come back soon! ☺️

short of expectations

when we were looking for a cabin this one was appealing because of the hot tub in the forest. to our disappointment a problem with the tub rendered it inaccessible for our stay. needless our grandsons did not get the adventure they were looking forward to.

Wonderful location, safe & secure garden, great swing park, very spacious and well equipped. Only let down were the double bed mattresses which I think need replacing. We had a fabulous holiday

The bed was to sift with lumps. It got to warm and humidity in side during the day. Cabin ground were great. Ran out of propane.

Beautiful mountain backdrop

This cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We brought our dog and it was pet friendly. The location was amazing and close to many outdoor activities. Hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful and Relaxing

First time renting a cabin in Payson. We mainly booked it to get our 140+ Lbs Alaskan Malamute out of the heat. We all had a wonderful time. Nice to know there are property owners that welcome our large fur babies. Owners Ken and Diane are on site if you need them. ..Thank you both as we had a wonderful relaxing get away !

St Andrews

Nice cottage as described. Ideal for us golfing in St Andrews and wanting to stay out of town. Plenty parking. Good WiFi but poor phone signal. The mirrors in the bedrooms gave us a laugh as they made my wife who is 5’ 3”, look 6 foot tall and me who is 6’, 7’ tall and very skinny. ;)
