Very clean and welcoming property settled in meadow setting with lots of birds and wild life around. Host was very responsive to inquiries and requests.

Visit to winfield

Property was a lovely well maintained home. Plenty of sleeping space,wish there had been a second full bathroom, instead of one full bath and one half bath.

Peaceful countryside setting

Beautiful countryside setting with wildlife and beautiful views! House was immaculate with treats that welcomed us. Owner very helpful and responsive. Kitchen well stocked and lots of towels!!! Great time!!! Beds super comfy!

Perfect stay for small town Winfield

We really enjoyed our stay here. Place exactly as shown in pictures which sometimes don’t show aging over time and use. Hosts were very responsive. We even got a chance to meet them in person at the local 4th of July fireworks event. It’s nice to see hosts who do this out of goodness and not just for profit. Thank you Austin and Deb for a great stay.

The Gate House was by far the best stay we could have wished for. Thank you to our Host, Mr. Austin, you are amazing. A pleasure to communicate with and made our stay a memorable one. The accommodations were above and beyond. A warm and charming welcome. The house was very clean and organized. We enjoyed all Gate House had to offer. The property is absolutely beautiful. Our only complaint was we could not stay longer. We can’t wait to rebook.
