The Bluegill on Little Green Lake!

This charming 3 BR house on Little Green Lake is perfect for relaxing, or as a great home base for recreational activities all year round -fishing, golf, and water sports in the summer, snowmobiling, x-country skiing and ice fishing in the winter. Little Green is located in Green Lake County, WI. This lake is 462 acres in size and is 28 feet deep at its deepest point. It is a Class A Muskie lake and anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Bass, Northern and Walleye.
The space
Newly updated 1000+ square foot home on Little Green Lake, with refinished hardwood floors and vinyl plank throughout.
-New kitchen has open shelving, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped.
-Bedroom 1 has a double bed and a set of twin bunks beds, spacious closet.
-Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with a dresser and spacious closet. Wall mounted TV with local channels.
-Bedroom 3, (suite located in the basement), has a queen bed and second bath with shower.
-In the living room there is a 50" TV, and antenna with local channels (no cable), DVD player and high speed internet. Comfy sectional seating with electric fireplace.
-The dining room has a round clawfoot table with extra leaves for eating, puzzles and crafts. Patio door from dining/craft room goes onto a new 150 sf deck, with a view of the lake.
- Updated main floor bathroom has tiled shower/tub. 2nd Bathroom (in basement has a shower, toilet and vanity.
-High Efficiency Washer and Dryer available for use in the basement.
A fire pit is located off the deck, in view of the water. Two kayaks are available for paddling the lake as well as an aluminum rowboat. A stainless steel fish cleaning station available on the back of the garage. We have bean bag toss boards and bags available for use in the garage.
Guest access
Full access to the house and basement with washer and dryer.
Other things to note
Large antenna with local channels. Web TV options also with DVD player w movies.
Internet/Wifi
There is a Weber gas grill available to use.
A pier for lounging and fishing is on the lake
Dogs are allowed for an extra $20 per day fee. (2 for $30)

We loved the cottage. It was tastefully renovated and had everything we needed. Great view from picture window of the lake and access to dock. Owner was responsive and accommodating. Peaceful lake and not boated out or crazy. Caught good fish on Little Green too and close to Big Green and golf. Loved our stay!

Cozy cabin on the water

My friends and I loved the Bluegill! The view of the water is beautiful and the cabin was very comfortable.

Very family friendly. We took our daughters and son in laws and 2 granddaughters for a long weekend. The only bad thing was the weather didn’t cooperate one afternoon, otherwise it was a perfect weekend. Our daughters are already talking of coming back again next year.

Great family vacation

We had a great family getaway at the Bluegill. The house was clean and we loved the lake view and location. It had everything we needed and was nice that our dog could join us. We brought our fishing boat and rented a pontoon one day from nearby bait shop to get out on Little Green Lake. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

Family time together

Great place for family fun. Walking distance to beach and the lake was super warm. Rented a pontoon boat just down the road for one day. The cottage is very well equiped just bring your clothes and food!!!!

Little Green Stay

Property was very nice, kitchen was particularly well appointed, beds were comfortable but small since we prefer king size beds. Some of the chairs in living room and dining room need to be upgraded. And the railings by the lake need to be replaced. A comfortable place to stay and views of lake and sunsets were lovely.

Loved it!

We had a great time at The Bluegill! The house is nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved that we could bring our boat and tie it to the pier and fish easily. We launched right up the street at The Landing and the owner gave use great information on where to fish the lake. We will be back! Thank you Phil and Judy!

We live full time in the Madison WI area. Phil’s a musician and retired high school art teacher, Judy is a recently retired RN. We have three grown sons. We bought this house, affectionately named “The Bluegill”, in September of 2019. We love Little Green Lake!
