The Elk Cabin at the Bucking Moose Cabins is the perfect place to base your Yellowstone adventures! It sits within walking distance of all our favorite attractions, shops, restaurants, and bars and is only blocks from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Elk Cabin (#12): The Bucking Moose cabins offer a historic Yellowstone experience originally built in the 1950s and used by the park service for ranger accommodations before being moved to there current location. Each cabin has two queen beds and sleeps 4 guests. Additionally, this cabin comes with 2 TVs, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a full bath. Each cabin comes with parking for one vehicle with additional street parking nearby. Each TV is a smart TV/ Roku equipped with streaming apps **There is no satellite or cable channels in these units.**

Yellowstone National Park Closures

The West Gate of Yellowstone National park will be closed from March 15th to April 21st 2023 to prepare for the summer season. The West Gate will then remain open for the summer season from April 21st until November 1st 2023. Please note these dates are subject to change, please confirm your travel details prior to your arrival.
