Just a short stroll away from the beach, our spacious house offers the perfect spring retreat. Situated 5 miles from Yale, West Rock hiking trails, and a convenient 90-minute drive from Midtown Manhattan, our location is both accessible and serene.

In our private fenced backyard, embrace the warmer weather by enjoying our inviting fire pit and fire table, perfect for evening gatherings and relaxation under the stars.

Unwind with a glass of wine and catch your favorite game on our 75'' TV, while the little ones explore the designated play area upstairs. It's the perfect setting for families and friends to reconnect and make the most of the spring season.

Quiet, Clean and Great Location!

We loved our stay in this charming beach home! It was spotlessly clean; located in a quiet neighborhood very near Long Island Sound and great shoreline walks; well provisioned and furnished; and offered easy access to the Yale campus and museums as well as an array of interesting restaurants. Our contact, Tom, was a dream to work with: responsive, considerate and informative. We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the greater New Haven area.

Great Host, Cleanliness

Our stay here was very pleasant. The home was clean & up to date. The neighborhood is a nice area. Easy access to everything. Not too far from the beach. The Host was very nice. Always responded in a timely manner. Checked in to see if more supplies were needed during the stay. Will highly recommend & return if needed.

Suggestions

Nice property in a good location for walking. Most places provide a booklet that says what to do with trash and recycle, where to put the laundry when we leave, where we might find a grocery store. We could not find replacement trash bags in the house. Not enough places to hang wet towels. Tom, the landlord, was very responsive.

Lovely Space for Group Gathering

Joined by our college aged children and a few of their friends, the open first floor plan was perfect. The homey living room by a large table for group meals by the kitchen allowed for quick and comfortable set up for meals; laptop work and study; and game playing. Many sleeping options was a plus. The spacious back space is great for outdoor activity. We gathered by the fire and had plenty of space for our door games (would prefer grass to the gravel).

Sibling Reunion

My 3 siblings and I stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. The house was clean and well appointed. The weather was poor when we were there, so we stayed in, cooked for ourselves, played games, and reminisced, and the house was perfect for that.

Well maintained house in quiet neighborhood

Tom was a wonderful host with great communication and went out of the way to welcome us and cater to our needs. The house was clean and well equipped. There were some great games and bookshelves that we enjoyed exploring. The house strikes a nice balance between a too stark hotel room and an overly cluttered home. The luggage racks in the closet were a nice detail that is frequently overlooked!

Stay With Tom

Tom was very helpful during the checking in & checking out process. Place was beautiful as pictured & very clean. Brought a few friends over to loosen up before the semester kicks in! Definitely recommend.

Great

We had a great couple of days here. Our group of 10 had plenty of space for hanging out, cooking, eating, and gaming in this beautiful and clean home. All the beds were very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to all questions and requests. The weather was nice so it was great to be able to take a short walk down to the public beach to get some fresh air and enjoy the water views.

Amazing house!

This stay was amazing, Tom was an excellent host. The house is beautiful, everything is accurate to the photos and even better in person. My family kept praising me for finding a great pick! If you are traveling with large groups, this house is great! We loved it!

I have worked on this house for 6 months. The house belonged to the same family for about 50 years and it needed a lot of work.
The house came with some belongings of the former owner that are now displayed throughout the house.
The house was renovated from top to bottom with new bathrooms, new flooring, new HVAC system, new windows .. you name it. No expenses spared.
My family enjoys this house as a second home and weekend getaway
