Stunning 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home! This fully professionally remodeled home offers a stylish & spacious living room area & a retro-styled full kitchen with the perfect touches! Garage remodeled into a game room + board games are provided for some extra fun! This beauty is in a fabulous location walking distance to downtown main street! Come enjoy the backyard deck with a hot tub. Managed by Heavenly Hosts



The Space:

Das 406 Gasthaus is the perfect place to relax in style & make memories that will last a lifetime. Around the corner from Grand Central at Milam!



- Sleeps 6 guests!

- King size beds in all 3 rooms!

- Master bedroom does have an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower (no tub)

- Hall bathroom is full size with a walk-in shower (no tub)

- Washer/dryer available!

- Plus game room in the garage area, a few board games provided

- BBQ Grill available, BYO Charcoal

- Hot tub available!

- Please note: The yard is not fully fenced. There are stairs attached to the deck.



Note: Fire pit has been removed from the listing and the house since it's not in city compliance for Fredericksburg.



BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, effective October 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM.: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.

As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please leave all hot coals in the grill to cool completely, we will handle proper disposal. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. Thank you for your understanding!

This was great place to stay, everything was a 10. Location was perfect walking distance to historic downtown and restaurants. Recent total remodel, fully outfitted kitchen and 3 king size beds. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.Back porch had a spacious setting area and hot tub, great place to enjoy a glass of the local wines.Host was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Highly recommend and will stay with them again

We enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg Das Gasthaus. Very close to restaurants and shopping on Main St. The house was very clean and had every amenity you could need.

Perfect Location and Hang Out

We did a married couples weekend trip to Fredericksburg and stayed at the house. It was perfect for the 6 of us to have space to hang out and enjoy each other's company. It was also close to everything so we were able to get around really easily.

Fabulous Home for Girls Getaway

Our short trip was even more perfect because of this wonderful accommodation ! Everything was spotless, the bedrooms each with a King bed were roomy, appointed very nicely, and most comfortable beds. The open spaces were bright and the retro kitchen was perfect ! I will definitely recommend this home with the convenient location close to everything!!

Long weekend trip

One of the nicest rentals we have ever short term rented. Newly remodeled, beautiful, very clean, fully stocked. This property is perfect for couples. Plenty of room for visiting and personal space. One block from main street.

Girl's Weekend

We rented this property for the weekend to celebrate my daughter and mom's January Birthdays. We LOVED it the moment we walked in. Beautifully decorated, great location to restaurants and shopping and all rooms have king size beds. The hot tub in the backyard was an added plus. We will definitely be back!

House was as described and clean. We asked to arrive one hour early at 3:00pm instead of 4:pm (Due to s special occasion) but the request was denied. We were offered to book a day early but we only wanted one hour. Departure time of 10:00am seems a bit early but we were gone before then just felt like we had to rush.

Beautiful and peaceful

We were delighted from start to finish with this lovely home. Very well appointed with luxurious items. And those sheets! So soft. It was close enough to walk to downtown shopping and dinning. We will return.

Spring weekday getaway with family

One of those rare times when the property exceeds the pictures. Great layout (really cool 'bonus' room in the back to watch movies/read/relax). Retro done right. Really good location on the edge of the main strip but not too close from a noise perspective. Can easily walk to many spots (great restaurant and coffee shop a block away). To me a good test for vacation rental is 'would I stay here again'; and the answer is absolutely for this home.

Great place!

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids 11 & 7) really loved this property. It was very clean and the layout was perfect with three large bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, living area, separate dining, and a really cute game room, which I ended up using as an office to work part of the time. The hot tub was a big hit and we loved that we could walk to everything. The only two small negatives are that the shades don’t block out all the light at night (but we are pretty light sensitive) and large trucks seemed to like driving on the street at night (nothing they can do about that). But even with those two issues, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again.
