Bring the whole family—and even your pup—to our comfortable Crested Butte home with plenty of room for fun.

Our new townhome in Buckhorn Ranch is just 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from Mount Crested Butte. It’s the perfect home base for mountain adventures, all year long. The heated garage keeps your car snow-free and offers a great place to stash all your gear after a day of skiing, biking, or hiking.

This is our personal home that we share with guests—we only get to visit Crested Butte 3–4 times a year, but we love every minute we’re here. As such, the home is stocked with the basics (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap), but you’ll want to bring your own items like coffee, olive oil, and tin foil.

We are a pet-friendly home, and our cleaners do a great job, but they may not be able to remove every trace of pet hair. If you or anyone in your group is highly sensitive to pet hair or dander, this may not be the best fit.

Also, please keep in mind that Crested Butte is a remote mountain town—and that’s exactly why we love it. But it does come with some quirks. For example, the valley occasionally runs out of propane for the gas grill, so thanks in advance for rolling with the punches when those things happen.

We’re so excited to share our dream home with you, and we hope you fall in love with Crested Butte—with all of its natural beauty and small-town charm—just as much as we have.

The security deposit is quite large. It was more than our 2 night stay, which is unusual in my experience. This could be off-putting to some guests. But it was a lovely stay overall! Great views and clean setup.

Our family of four had a great time in this beautiful house with plenty of room to spread out if we wanted to! The house is well-stocked (no one needs to buy mustard for a long time!), in a great location, and has a cute little balcony we all enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again!

Our original Vrbo booking was cancelled on us right before we were to arrive. I was scrambling to find a replacement booking and our host was very equivocal to respond to provide a same day check-in and to make sure that we had arrived successfully at the property. The beds were great, the space was perfect for our needs and the location couldn’t have been better. We were happily rescued from what could have been disaster. Vrbo corporate customer assistance was also 100% helpful with resolution of the original reservation details. Many thanks to all!

Wonderful property with everything you need!

This was a wonderful place to stay. 1st time not staying on the ski mountain and we liked it so much better. Huge windows for wonderful views, modern but comfortable and just a short drive to town and the ski mountain.

Very nice stay! Beautiful place with great views, plenty of space for our one year old grandson to explore. Access to Mount Crested Butte and the town. Comfortable beds, nice patio, and nice kitchen.

The home is fantastic - we loved the neighborhood and it had everything we needed including comfortable bedding, kitchen glassware, plates, etc. It is close to downtown but also a very quiet location which we enjoyed. The hosts were super attentive, helpful, and communicative! We are hopeful we can stay here again and we are so appreciative. Definitely a great find.

Fall Break

Beautiful property within mins of the charming Crested Butte town. Easy access to hiking trails and playgrounds. The whole family enjoyed our stay and the host was very accommodating and responsive. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Townhome!!!

Loved the townhome! It was decorated so cute and everything was new and so clean. The owner was responsive and so nice when we asked for a favor! Very pet friendly too!!! We hope to stay here again.

It was a beautiful and clean home. Just short on some cleaning supplies (trash bags, cleaning spray) and there was no propane fuel for the grill. Would highly recommend anyone to book if you’re in crested butte for a stay.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful location

Great location in an absolutely beautiful valley. The neighborhood sites are still under construction, so there was a bit of noise to deal with during the day, but with windows closed it was hardly noticable. Gorgeous off-leash hiking trail just 5 minutes up the road, and the home itself is absolutely stunning and well-appointed. Would happily stay again!

We all loved this condo. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Close to town and the ski resort but yet far enough away to enjoy the beauty of the country. Easy booking and check-in. No problem contacting the owner.

Crested Butte Fun

The townhouse was very comfortable for all of us. The view was fantastic and the location was perfect for us. The bicyclists were able to leave from the house. We were able to walk the dogs close by as well as taking them on adventures with us. It was a very enjoyable experience for us.

Fantastic ski weekend in Crested Butte!

What a beautiful townhome in an incredible community! Located only minutes from town and skiing, a super convenient location. No busses or shuttles needed since parking is so easy around Crested Butte. The buckhorn ranch area is such a nice place to stay. Great roads for walking and taking in the scenery for anyone who does not ski. The views from the home cannot be beat! We will certainly be back

New place that was great

This was a great stay. It was as advertised. There is one bedroom with bathroom on the entry level. Upstairs has 2 additional bedrooms with a common bathroom. There was nice deck to sit out on. We loved the music selection and it was nice to be able to play music. I would recommend this location. It is a little outside of town in a nice area.
