Best sea view in Belize City.“Gold Standard”

Best work space in Belize City, fast internet with peaceful sea views and modern conveniences. Tropical sea breeze flows through every window, but air-conditioning in every room.
The space
Perfect for remote work or just to relax after touring the many attractions on mainland Belize. The apartment is located in front of Dolphin Park which sits on the edge of the Sea so it has a panoramic unobstructed view of the Sea and Mangrove reserves on both sides of the park. It has a spacious master bedroom with kingsized bed, ensuite bathroom and private sea view verandah. Second bedroom has a queen bed air conditioning and access to the second full bathroom with large shower..The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, exquisite mahogany cabinets and modern appliances including dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The living room opens to an oversized deck with a nice modern patio set. If you are visiting Belize for work or vacation, you will not be disappointed with this spacious apartment in front of the sea.
You can also ask for a long term stay , the price is considerable lower.
Guest access
The guests will have their own entrance to their apartment and has access to the entire apartment. The property has three apartments each with its own private access and the common entrance at the gate.
To go to the 2/3 floors take the step on the left of the building.
Other things to note
Please note that while this apartment is in front of the sea, the sea in Belize City is not adequate for swimming. You may fish from the gazebo in the park in front of the Apartment.
In this country like any other country we have power outage, we have dogs that backs, we have birds singing all day, we have roster that sing . Children than plays neighbors that some times play there music.
We have people that sale tamales in bikes and scream tamales so please don't be scared this is part of the Belize Folklore . Please note no parties are allowed and only the guest can come in the apartment please note NO guest of guest are allowed in the building or in the pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmen’s Rental in Belize City. It was a great central location to take in local tours from and we felt very safe to walk around the area as well. Easy 10 minute taxi drive to downtown. Carmen was very easy to communicate with and provided recommendations for restaurants, tours and taxi operators.

Located directly across from Dolfin Park in a residential area. There's a few stores within walking distance but you'll need a taxi to get to most things. We used Domingo, the driver that was recommended by the owner. He was fantastic. The apartment was comfortable, clean and relaxing.

The owner said we dirted the sheets and towels which there was suntan lotion on the sheets eyeliner on the year old towels she said they had to throw them away not wash but throw away and charged us $200 us dollar The air conditioner did not work so it was hot as bell

Property was very nice, there's no flyers with advertisements for restaurants nearby. You must have your own transportation unless you have a chauffeur to drive you around.

Stay in Belize City

Stayed in Belize City for 10 days. This property was our home base as we explored the cayes and ruins. Lovely view of the ocean. A little out of away from the city centre and marina but took local bus or taxi to get around. Bus was $1, taxi was $10. Our host connected us with a local taxi driver Domingo who was fantastic. We contacted him whenever we needed a ride. Service was great.

This place was very spacious, comfortable, and scenic with a great ocean view. They owner is very hospitable and nice. If I was to travel to Belize City again, I would try to stay. I highly recommend it.

Disappointing

Unfortunately the online description is not accurate. There’s was no one available to call when we arrived. The property is not in the best location. We didn’t feel safe to walk to restaurants as was described by the owner. We had to taxi everywhere costing anywhere from $25-40 US dollar. There were 3 different codes for entry to the property. The water view was not as we expected. Property sits in a run down area. Furniture was old and stained. I don’t recommend this property unless you just want cheap!!!!

A Home Away from Home in Belize City
