Historic rowhouse in heart of Shaw

This charming rowhouse with modern amenities was built in 1900 and is in the heart of Shaw. You'll be just blocks away from so many great places and in walking distance to Logan Circle, DuPont Circle, Chinatown / Gallery Place, the Convention Center, U Street, and more!

This is our home (not a full-time rental), so it feels like a home. We truly love it here, and we hope you will too!

It's very cozy and has all of the amenities (including baby items if you need them), but it is filled like a home since it's not a full-time rental.

The upsides/downsides are that the fridge/freezer/pantry are fully stocked with our food items. We’re avid cooks, so you should have nearly any spice and kitchen appliance available (sous vide anyone?), and you’re welcome to use any of it during your stay. The biggest downside is that the dressers and closets are full of my family’s clothes and linens.

Please don't hesitate to send questions if you're wondering if my home would fit your needs.

You'll have the whole house (2 floors plus a basement) and deck to yourself!

Spring break trip to DC

We had a fabulous stay in this gorgeous home and neighborhood while staying with family on our trip to DC. Ali was great to work and chat with and super helpful with information and tips for our trip. Highly recommend this rental property.

Thanksgiving Week in DC

Super clean!!!! Great amenities. Loved the coffee shop around the corner. Parking was surprisingly easy for the DC area. East access to Virginia snd Maryland.

Amazing oasis in Shaw

This house was absolutely perfect for our family weekend in DC-we came as 3 generations to enjoy a weekend getaway, and found this home to be absolutely perfect for our needs. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and the deck immediately adjacent to the kitchen was a great place for a family meal or a quiet cup of coffee in the morning. It was convenient to all the museums and activities we pursued on the mall, which made it perfectly situated. Plus the grocery store 2 blocks down made it also the perfect location for us to cook and hang out as a family and have breakfast together. Ali was a wonderful host; we truly could not have asked for better. #Shawsome

My family and I live in DC. Our jobs are permanently remote, so we like to travel when we can. While we travel, we make our home available to rent. We've tried to bring all our favorite amenities when we travel into our home, so that it's a great experience for our guests.

This rowhouse is located in the Shaw neighborhood of DC. Shaw is one of the city’s central enclaves, with Michelin-starred restaurants, craft cocktail bars, beer gardens, and indie clothing boutiques. This historically African-American neighborhood is home to the 1910 Howard Theatre, where jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald and DC local Duke Ellington once performed.
