The house was in a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was spacious and perfect for a large group, which can be hard to find. The host was responsive when the power went out, which we appreciated.That said, there were several issues:1.We didn’t receive check-in info by 4 PM and had to call at 4:15. The host was defensive and only sent the info while we were on the phone.2.The second-floor bathroom sink was leaking from the start. When we reported it, the host blamed us for causing the issue, and suggested we had put pressure on the sink and caused the issue. We had to use a bowl to catch water.3.The listing mentions a parking spot, but the alley is far too tight for any midsize or large car. The host was rude when we brought this up.4.The second-floor shower did not drain properly. When we flagged it, the host insisted it worked and told us to use drain cleaner.5.During the power outage, we asked about flashlights and followed his directions to look. We found nothing and got no reply when we followed up.None of these were trip-ending, but the host’s attitude was consistently defensive, rude, and unhelpful. A little kindness would have made a big difference.
