Lake Nacimiento lakeside resort community of Oak Shores, perched atop Pine Ridge Road with magnificent lake views, great for unwinding after a day of lake fun! House is 3bd/2.5bath 1,250 sqft home. Enter to an open concept kitchen living area that extends to deck via fold-away glass panels for unobstructed indoor/outdoor entertaining!

There is a gravel side yard just large enough for your boat trailer parking, we also have a gated secure slip available in the private marina at additional $40/nite, DM for availability! [[Long Stay Incentive: our private slip is included FREE with booking 8+ nites]] NOTE: all watercraft must pass mussel inspection (check specific Lake Nacimiento rules as each lake regulations do vary!!), pay daily lake use fees, call (805) 472-2230 prior to booking to avoid any surprises!

All new appliances in fully out-fitted kitchen (coffee: Keurig, 4cup drip, french press, grinder)
Living area offers counter seating at peninsula, overhead fan and an electric fireplace plus large wall mounted TV for entertaining into the night.
Outdoor cooking has Propane BBQ and Traeger Grill (bring your favorite pellets).
We also provide Starlink WiFi connection thru-out.

Upstairs has 2 (front and back) balconies. Master is King bed with private balcony and en-suite bathroom. Middle room has Bunk beds plus a 3rd pull-out trundlebed and large wall hung TV. Sunrise room is Queen bed with private balcony. Hall bath is dbl sink with shower/tub. Hallway laundry has full size washer/dryer. There are 2 "bed-in-bag" folding cushions for sleeping in *living room.
*note: all bedrooms are located on second floor with rather steep staircase, not recommended for those with mobility restrictions.

In pantry are (2) lantern-style and a hand-held flashlight plus board games and cards in case PG&E power outage occurs during your stay (yes, the lake experience may include times without power).

You will have use of (2) gate cards during your stay. Gate card is used for afterhours access of main GATE as well as access to the heated community POOL (seasonal; April-Oct), clubhouse, playground, basketball, mini-golf, swim area with floating dock and (2) private boat ramps (call Marina for launch instructions as ramps are subject to lake high water levels).

Home fits 6 adults or 4 adults plus children comfortably, up to 2 Small dogs <20# allowed.

HOA imposes a strict *2 car limit.
[*Each rental is limited to 2 vehicles ONLY, if extra vehicles arrive can be parked at own risk outside Oak Shores on Lynch Ranch Rd, a 10min drive back up across from entry to the main gate @ the pull-out under the big tree.]

-NOTE: Guest to complete and pay Oak Shores Community Association Rental Registration (I collect the extra fee of $50 after booking and submit form and fee on your behalf).
-NOTE: All Watercraft to pre-pay lake use fees in advance (min. 24 hr prior) to arrival assisted by Oak Shores Marina (YOU must contact and pay directly thru Oak Shores Comm Association).
-NOTE: all watercraft must pass mussels inspection to enter Lake Nacimiento.

We Can't Get Enough

Our family of 6 (with our dog), came back for our 3rd stay here and had an amazing stay, once again.The view is incredible, especially at sunset, and the house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The private boat slip and trailer parking is huge! The owner was friendly, extremely easy to work with and accommodating.The lake itself is awesome for boaters. Practically empty during the week, great water, friendly boaters, beautiful narrows area for lunch and swimming, and even a few cliffs for our teens to jump off.

Perfect for a Family Vacation

The owner was very responsive and helpful. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous view from the spacious, covered deck. Location was perfect for watching boats and wildlife. We felt very safe in this community. Pool, miniature golf and two boat launches were minutes from the house.

Amazing view

Beautiful view and lots of supplies and we'll stalked kitchen would have liked glass plates for adults and newer uncrached frying pans but was very happy in this home and would love to return in the future

Was wondering why the DW left full and pots/pans left drying on counter, didn't notice scratches when putting everything away but will look closer.. thanks for the heads up!!

Relaxing Get-away!

Gorgeous views of lake and mountains did not disappoint! Very well stocked kitchen made cooking a few meals easy. Well stocked bathrooms, as well. Comfortable and cozy for this time of year! We visited Hearst Castle on this trip which was only a beautiful 1 1/2 hour drive. Excellent communication with the host who gave us lots of suggestions for our stay! Highly recommend! We hope to visit again in warmer weather.

Good vibes

This property was absolutely amazing. The house was extremely clean and had all amenities that you need. My favourite was the glass folding door that opened up to the deck that over looked the lake. My family and I had a very relaxing time and I would definitely stay there again.

The view!

This was our second stay here, bringing our four teenage kids (and dog), and we loved it, just as much as our first visit. The view of the lake (and stars), is amazing. We enjoy sitting out on the deck, morning, noon and night, and just soaking it in. We also like that it's clean, well equipped, has a private slip for our boat, and trailer parking. The owner is very friendly, communicative, and hospitable. She has gone the extra mile for us, on multiple occasions.We have a ton of fun boating on the lake, and our kids especially enjoy the fishing and cliff jumping in the narrows.We'll definitely be back!

Stairway was a bit steep bue due to our bad knees. Could not find trash bags. Beds were great. Kitchen was great. Parking was easy. Will book again in the future.

Amazing xiew

I stayed with my husband and my adult son and daughter and their significant others. There was six of us all together we stayed comfortably. The house had amazing view all the amenities that we could ask for we were missing nothing the kitchen had everything we needed when we cooked all of our meals, the community was beautiful and clean and the people were nice and friendly I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a nice quiet retreat. Also, if you have a boat it is very convenient with a slip available just mins away.

Great boating retreat!

Our family of 6 loved this house! It was perfect for our boating trip. The house was clean, with updated decor, spacious, had comfortable beds in every room, and had everything we needed (including all the kitchen necessities... which we used a ton). We spent hours sitting on the shaded deck, enjoying the amazing view of the lake and gully beneath, in between boating runs, and walked the neighborhood in the evenings. It felt like we were on a retreat. An added bonus was the boat/trailer parking next to the house. The owner was very friendly, responded quickly to my questions, and check in-checkout was easy. We will definitely look to book this place again!

Relax and Rejuvenate

My family and I had a relaxing stay at the Lake. The views from the decks are Amazing!! We also saw lots of wildlife: blue jays, chicken hawks, deer, rabbits and woodpeckers. The open floor plan on the ground level encouraged long conversations, great meals, card games and crafts. We spent a day at Lake Nacimiento swimming which was lovely and one day wine tasting at one of the many wineries in the area. If you enjoy boating and other water sports, this property is definitely for you. If you want to escape to the quiet and beauty of nature, this location is also for you. Host was very communicative and the check-in process was smooth. Everything you need to cook, toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, paper products, laundry detergent, snacks, spices, etc. are provided. I would definitely recommend this beautiful beach house.

Best VRBO

The house far exceeded our expectations. It was remarkably clean!! It's hard to keep bugs out of houses so close to the water, but they have done it. The house was very well stocked with towels, TP, trash bags, etc. We brought our own, so this was an extra nice surprise. The beds were soooo comfortable. I worked while we were there, and the internet was great. My family loved watching the huge TV together in the evenings. There is a Traeger too! There were many snacks as a surprise treat. My kids ordered the snacks from Target before we left for home. The only negative is that my family loved the bidet so now I have to buy one.

Perfect lake view home!

I stayed at Deborah's home this past week with my husband and a few friends, and it was the perfect place to stay! The house welcoming and so comfortable. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space, and was outfitted with everything we needed for cooking and BBQing (the little bags of chips provided were a fun surprise!) There was plenty of seating and places for eating between the bar stools and the TV trays. The bedrooms had everything necessary to be comfortable. We brought a boat that we kept in a guest slip at the Oak Shores Marina, which was easy to access, and the trailer parking next to the house was such a bonus. The view, though, was my favorite part. Each morning, I sat on the deck with my coffee and a book and enjoyed the bird and deer watching. The house had AC and a fan, and it stayed so cool despite the triple digit temperatures outside. We definitely would love to stay again!

Hopefully next time

Unfortunately, a small stipulation prevented us from having the opportunity to enjoy Deborah‘s beautiful lake home. While we are always ones to do our due diligence, it’s been sometime since we’ve had to go through the process of researching requirements for boating on Lake Nacimiento. Deborah had very good, open lines of communication to the point in which we determined we would not be able to take advantage of our reservation. While VRBO would not cancel our reservation to allow for another guest to rebook, Deborah is currently considering our request to honor a future nearby date, and we certainly hope we will be able to relax in her home and enjoy boating with our kids. Thank you! Yes, the 30-day mussels quarantine @Lake Nacimiento is a regulation SLO takes seriously… i’ve been working on HOA refund of $50 registration fee and will absolutely waive the cleaning charge on your next booking! Thanks again!

Perfection!

Deborah’s property truly has it all. I’ve rented over 20 different homes/properties over the years and I can say without a doubt Deborah’s is the best I’ve stayed in. My boyfriend and I took my son & 3 of his friends to the lake for a week, so I was cooking for 6, everyday. There wasn’t a single time I looked for something and it wasn’t available. The kitchen is a dream to work in, the living area spacious, the beds comfy, lots of extra plush towels. Every little detail has been thought of, from welcome snacks, to qtips in the bathrooms, to laundry detergent for the washer..I could go on. And the view! The pictures just don’t do it justice! To top it off, Deborah herself is a gem. Proactive in communication, flexible & easily accessible when needed. Suffice it to say we cannot wait to come back. Everyone said it was the best vacation they had ever been on, & the house was a huge part of it. Thank you Deborah for helping make such great memories!

Best part of the house is the view. The giant doors to open to the deck don’t open. The beds are very fragile. They weren’t put together correctly and would fall apart. We had to fix it several times in the master room. House is noisy when people walk around. The neighbor is really creepy and watches you anytime you’re outside. He watched us unload all our bags. My teens friend asked if there was a problem and he said he was keeping his property safe. Whatever that means. He would watch when we backed in and out of the driveway. He would watch my teen work out. He even started watering his turtle habitat rocks, which is right on the property line. The water was spraying on her so she had to stop. It was very strange. When we used the deck at night he would be checking to make sure we weren’t noisy. It was just our small family and are very considerate of neighbors. The owner also agreed to refund part of our stay because we changed the dates outside the timeframe. She seemed accommodating at first so we trusted we would get a refund. She then changed her mind after our stay and didn’t want to refund us. So we ended up paying for 2 nights we weren’t there. I would have just gone if I knew she was going to go back on the agreement. We have stayed in oak shores a lot over the last 10 years and there are many great houses and owners. I won’t stay at this house again.

Hi Seanna, It's been a month! hope you are well. Thank you for revealing the damage to master bed, now I can inspect your repairs for safety of future guests. VRBO since under the 30-day policy did refuse your booking alteration but the bright side you had already earned a free nite plus some, via "8-nite stay reward". Lake Naci is AWESOME!
