Peaceful Saltwater Pool Retreat, Florida Escape

Welcome to Casa Centamino! This farmhouse retreat features an open-concept layout, heated saltwater pool, screened lanai, and private fenced backyard. The primary suite is located on the opposite side of the home from the guest bedrooms for added privacy.

Conveniently located near Tradition, I-95, Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital, shopping, and dining. Enjoy a walk to Peacock Lake or a drive to Jensen Beach approximately 25-30 minutes away. Perfect for work, relaxation, or an extended stay.

House Rules:
• Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM
• No pets allowed
• No parties, events, or large gatherings
• No smoking or vaping inside the home (a $275 fee will apply)
• Please be respectful of neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum
• Please report any damages or maintenance issues immediately
• Please do not disconnect the pool vacuum, as it helps keep the pool clean and ready for your enjoyment

• Refrigerator features a built-in water filtration system for fresh drinking water. Please note that the ice maker is currently out of service; however, ice trays and an ice scoop are provided in the freezer.

• All bedrooms feature comfortable foam mattresses and premium hotel-quality pillows for a restful night's sleep.

• Primary Bedroom: Samsung 60" Smart TV

• Bedroom 2: Samsung 50" Smart TV

• Bedroom 3: Samsung 42" Smart TV

• Living Room: Samsung 70" Smart TV, Samsung sound bar, and a comfortable sofa bed

Pool Information:
• The pool heater operates daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is set to 82°F.
• Please note that pool temperatures may vary depending on weather conditions.
• The pool is heated for comfort but is not a spa or Jacuzzi and will not reach hot tub temperatures.

Security Cameras:
For the safety and security of our guests and property, exterior security cameras are located at the front door (Ring doorbell), front yard/garage, and backyard pool area. All cameras are located outdoors and disclosed in accordance with VRBO policies.

Property Services:
• Our pool technician and landscaper typically service the property on Tuesdays, though schedules may occasionally vary.

Property was very clean. Pool area very nice . Location to shopping and restaurants was great. Used house as home base for Baseball Spring Training games.

Too short vacation

We enjoyed the home and the salt water pool. The home very clean and the neighborhood was nice. Ashley was awesome and answered any questions we had. Great place would stay there again.

Ashley, the host was fantastic. Home was very comfortable with plenty of kitchen dishes, utensils and glass. Plus first rate wine glasses. Lovely Home, Cool Pool

The house was lovely and stocked with all necessities, the only downfall was that the pool was listed as heated but it was never actually at a comfortable enough temperature to use.

We are glad you guys love the house! We do apologize for that inconvenient. Unfortunately we were unaware that when Florida power had gone to the property to do there energy audit they forgot to turn the breaker (for the pool heater) back on. Once we found out we had the pool tech go and turn it back on. We would have loved to have known that when you guys were there. That way we could have taken care of that right away. Our mission is for you guys to have a relaxing enjoyable time. Thank you, Ray & Ashley

The perfect stay

This is the cutest house and really comfortable. It has everything you need. It was SUPER clean and had all the towels and kitchen supplies you need. The pool was very clean and nice to use at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and showers have great water pressure. Even the knives were sharp. It is super close to shopping (Walmart, Sams, etc.) These are all little, but important things. There is plenty of room for guests to congregate in the den and kitchen. We will be back!

Coming back in March 2025

We stayed for the entire month of March, 2024. Best review I can give is to say that we are signing up for March, 2025. House is very clean, very modern, very well equipped. Salt water pool and totally fenced in yard gave us total privacy. Communications with the owners were answered almost immediately. Quiet cul-de-sac, but less than 10 minutes from Publix and The Fresh Market.

Fair Valuation of Casa Centamino

Overall, we enjoyed our stay – nice home in a quiet, city neighborhood. New cookware, plenty of dinnerware, utensils, drinkware, etc. Bed and bath linens are in nearly new shape. And, there’s a neighborhood peacock! The peacock was spotted walking through the community several times – the kids really enjoyed seeing it! A few things to note; Although advertised as 25 minutes to the beach, the closest public beach access that we could find is 35 minutes away. Not an issue for us! We visited 4 different beautiful beaches: Jensen Beach (approx. 35 minutes), Stuart Beach (approx. 38 minutes), Jupiter Beach (approx. 45 minutes), and Riveria Beach which is close to an hour away. The pool is heated, but never reached the ‘moderate 79 degree’ temp that we had been advised of prior to booking. There was a dip in air temperature; it was approx. 65 degrees when we arrived, then climbed each day during our stay. Our last few days ranged from 80-85 degrees (air temperature) – the pool water temp maxed at 75 degrees during our visit, but started out at 62. The pool circulates the water from approximately 8:30AM to 5:30PM, which means that it is the only time that the water is heating. This was disappointing because it was the true reason that we rented the property. The beds are actually Queen (Master), Full (Guest Bedroom 1) and 2 Twin (Guest Bedroom 2). There’s a pull-out sofa in the living room. The mattresses are firm, but I actually preferred that – our guests had mixed reviews. The garage is available for use, which is nice, and helpful. The driveway is narrow and unable to hold 2 full size vehicles side-by-side. Hope this helps future guests decide if this property will truly fit their needs!

Hi Kim, Thanks for choosing Casa Centamino as your vacation stay. I'm glad to hear that you guys enjoyed yourself but sorry to hear that the pool was not to your expectations. Unfortunately due to the crazy low temperatures that FL has ever gotten it would affect the pool temperature (the pool heaters are not meant to run 24/7 and it is not a Jacuzzi). As far as the beach it all depends on traffic and also you guys were hauling a boat which will take a little bit longer to get to your destination to the beach. I will be updating the information box about the beach distance and pool, that way people don't get confused about it. Thank you for all your input & information about the property!
