Great location in the historic part of Marblehead. We could walk to shops, restaurants, beaches, and grocery store. The apartment was very clean with updated kitchen and bathroom. Photos reflect the apartment accurately. Would definitely stay there again when in Marblehead.

Lovely stay, adorable town!

Sailor's Retreat was the perfect place for our weekend trip to Marblehead! The stay was so cozy and it was stocked with all the necessities! The town is so sweet and lovely! It is only a quick drive to Salem, and Boston day trips!

Perfect!

This was the best getaway for us…😊 The apartment is just the cutest! Super clean and very comfortable! The waterfront, restaurant and shops are all within easy walking. This was a great find! We’ll definitely be back!

This is a nice, well updated and clean place. I had no issues staying here and the surrounding neighborhood is lots of fun to explore. I found a pond and a couple of beaches while wandering around this interesting neighborhood. Many houses have plaques affixed telling the year and purpose/original owner for which they were built (mostly 1700s). There is a good grocery store (Crosby's) a few blocks away & restaurants as well.

This place was everything it promised and more!!! The team at Breakwater Properties made the transaction seamless, and the stay stellar. The location was ideal, the price was lightyears better than all I investigated, and the accommodations were cozy, clean, and quaint.

Amazing location!

Great location, 14-15 minutes from Salem, with scenic drives from the Boston Logan airport. Cozy place to stay that had all the necessary amenities! Matt was super responsive. Wonderful experience and would absolutely refer friends and rebook our stay here again!

Perfect fall getaway!

We selected this rental due to its proximity to Salem as well as the coast. The photos of the unit were spot on and accurately reflected the property. The location is within walking distance of local shopping, dining, and sites. Very clean, comfortable rental. Great communication with the host. I would gladly stay here in the future.

Adorable Apartment!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Salem and Marblehead for a few days. We’re familiar with the area and like to stay outside the hustle and bustle of Salem (a quick Uber ride is all you need to get there!). This apartment was lovely—it’s nestled in a very walkable area and we were able to hit some local restaurants and shops with no issue. It is adorable inside! Full kitchen, good-sized bathroom and bedroom. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!

This is a great little apartment to stay in Marblehead. First floor, lovely bathroom with tub, renovated kitchen. Comfortable and quiet, walkable to many nice spots. Matt was always responsive to questions. Only thing that was a little unclear was that the parking spot was not actually in the driveway but about a block away. Not a big deal normally but coming with an infant it would have been helpful to know ahead of time.

Lovely place

Place was fine. Nicely maintained. Door entries confusing. Press enter, but no enter button. Parking after arriving at night confusing. Apartment nicely appointed. Doorway to bedroom a tight squeeze. . All together a goid experience. Would have liked parking in lot behind house. No street parking.
