Bright and airy space in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to Rockport, Gloucester and Salem. Coffee shop 2 doors down (closed on Sunday though).

The Loft was SO charming! We were concerned it may be a little small for us but quite the opposite. It was very cozy and comfortable. The loft turned out to be the perfect size in a great location. SO nice to have a cafe & package store practically right next door!! Diane was so effecient and helped us out in many ways. Her "favorites" to visit listed in her 3-ring binder were amazing. It really helped to read about tips from a local! We LOVED Cape Ann and hope to return!!

The Loft was a great location for my husband and I on our recent trip to Gloucester. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a cute balcony with two chairs and a table. The Loft was between a package store and a cafe. Sleeping was great in a comfy mattress and little noise from traffic.

The place was adequate for our stay but nothing special. Main room was also the kitchen which also opened to a small deck which had a view of the harbor blocked by a neighbor’s tree. Bedroom and attached bath were cramped. Stairs to the space were steep and the treads narrow. Property is on a busy street which was noisy in the mornings, most likely due to the fact it was Labor Day weekend. Surrounding area is near a protected harbor facing the Atlantic Ocean which was quite picturesque. We had a few issues but the host was very cooperative in resolving them.

Hi Joseph, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. The Loft has over 138, 10/10 reviews so I find it odd that you felt differently than everyone else. The description of the Loft states the size of 600 square feet so one can assume it is cozy. The stairs are normal and not as steep as much older homes. No one else has ever complained that they are steep or narrow. The name says it all "The Loft" at Lanes Cove. It's loft-style, cozy, quiet, top floor living in a great seaside village.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for 2 people. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location, particularly to the wonderful cafe a few doors down!

Charming and perfect place to stay

We had a lovely time staying at the Loft. It had a great location, updated apartment and very clean. Diane did a great job making sure we had a great time and that the property was working out for our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

beautiful loft

I loved staying in this beautiful homey loft. The view is beautiful, it was very clean and had a nice beachy vibe. The area is great, nice and peaceful at night and full of life during the day. I would stay here again for sure!

Pleasant location

This was the first time I renting a property through vrbo so I was pleased with the experience. I hadn’t stayed in this part of Gloucester before but it was nice.
