Secluded Log Cabin and Guest House with Snowmobile Trails out the front door!!

Two homes...the log cabin is 1800 sq.ft. and includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The cottage is 1000 sq.ft. and offers 2 bedrooms and a bath and a half. Both have their own kitchen and laundry for larger groups to get together for a unique vacation in Northern Michigan.

The property is less than a ten minute drive to Mackinaw City, yet tucked away in a private and wooded setting to provide guests with the feeling of truly being 'Up North'.

Across the road is a beautiful 6 acre park on Lake Huron with views of Mackinac Island and the Mackinaw Bridge. We are also conveniently located between Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. both offering wonderful shopping and dining experiences.

Crossing our driveway is the North Central State Trail, perfect for bicycling, hiking and snowmobiling, and spans 63 miles from Mackinaw to Gaylord.

Also close by you will find the Headlands International Dark Sky park, Mill Creek featuring zip lining and hiking, Cheboygan city beach and Gordon Turner park with an amazing play area for kids and scenic boardwalk, beautiful sandy beach with lighthouse for amazing pictures.
Along with Mackinaw City and Cheboygan each being a 10 minute drive, Petoskey and Harbor Springs are 45 minutes, Indian River is 25 minutes and the Upper Peninsula is only a 20 minute drive.

On the property, you will not only find peace and tranquility but also a stream that runs through, a gazebo and an outdoor firepit, perfect for ‘Smores and making memories.

Property was as described and then some. Anything you would need was there including a pack and play, toddler toys, board games, high chair and utensils for littles and bigs. It was easy for my family and friends to enjoy ourselves and wish would could've stayed longer. I had a baby two months ago and she easily slept and could carry out her normal routine on her first vacation. Close to everything.

These were perfect accommodations for our family of 10. Grandparents, parents and kids had their own space. It was well equipped with all you need for a long weekend stay. While isolated in woods, you were only minutes away from local attractions.

Excellent vacation for family

My bothers and family got together with kids.We all had a good relaxing stay. We wish we stayed for couple of days longer just to spend more time relaxing in the vacation rental.

Wonderful property!

This property was perfect for annual sibling reunion. It provided plenty of room to relax and socialize for the 7 of us. The location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. The kitchen was the best stocked I've ever seen with plenty of spices, among other things. The outdoor space was exceptional. Highly recommend renting this property when visiting the area

Great time!

The property was perfect for our family get-together. Clean, comfortable, and well-supplied kitchen. We enjoyed having fires in the fireplace and outside in the fire pit. The night sky was amazing! Easy walk across the road to a small park on the lake and an endless trail in the woods was convenient to the cabin. Monique was quick to respond to texts and gave us some great suggestions for eating out. Will definitely return if we're ever in the area.

Wedding Weekend Home Base

This was the perfect spot to get back to after wedding activities each day of our stay. We were able to relax by the fire and celebrate a 1st birthday as well. It was everything we wanted and needed. Close to everything but also private and relaxing

Great for property!

I have rented many homes in the last 25 years but this place has to be right at the top! It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children, plenty of room inside and out. The houses were very clean and very well stocked with everything you would need, the small house was was so new and updated and the big house had that wonderful up north feel. Monique the owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property, very close to everything.

Family Trip

Checking in was so easy. The Property was clean and ready for a family of 11. Everything we needed was there and the beds were great. This was a great location to Mackinaw City and all the things to do in the area. We really enjoyed the quietness and old train path to walk. The beach was within walking distance and the grandkids really enjoyed swimming. The adult kids what to come back here again. Weather was amazing 99% of our stay. The host was the best to work with and very gracious. Planning to return in the next several years. Keith

Great family stay!

Monique was so responsive! We had everything we needed, adequate space for all, firewood for the cookout, yard for the grandchildren to play safely. We got together for the ice cream party. Lots of activities within 20 min. It was an ideal setting for us. Not easy with 5 children 6 and under. We had a wonderful time. Thank you

Convenient location. Wonderful private cabin amongst beautiful wooded area and stream. Very clean, attentive to detail, well stocked with paper products and bedding, comfortable beds. Communication was excellent.

Beautiful cabin quiet setting

Very well kept cabin with guest house. The main cabin is beautiful with a well stocked kitchen. The guest cabin is cute and newly remodeled and was perfect for our teenagers. Would definitely recommend!
