We had an amazing time at this cute hideaway in South Laguna. The beach house is well stocked with all the essentials and plenty of extras. There were plenty of towels, linens, pantry essentials, and even boogie boards, totes and chairs for the beach!
We were impressed by how immaculate everything was and how beautifully everything had been decorated. There were lots of candles to create the perfect atmosphere; in fact, one candle on the coffee table smelled so good, I wish I could buy one for home!
The floor plan was open and airy with lots of windows and French doors. We arrived in the middle of the heatwave, but thanks to the great ceiling fan and the other fans provided, we were able to keep perfectly cool. In fact, it was much more comfortable than the beach, so we ended up barbecuing in the backyard, which was wonderful. The little white LED lights hung on the patio cover gave it a great ambiance. While you could eat in the dining room, there was plenty of seating outside in the front or the backyard--our favorite was the cute patio set near the fountain in the front yard. And the lounge chairs in the front yard were perfect for enjoying the view!
The owner was truly a pleasure to work with--she really went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome and well taken care of. She has a wealth of information about the area and there is a wonderful resource book that she has left in the office with everything you need to know, and then some!
There are restaurants within walking distance--Ti Amo, Laguna Thai, Coyote Grill, and Eva's Caribbean. And for fancier fare, there is always Studio at the Montage. All in all, it was an amazing, relaxing experience and we really wished we had more time to spend at this awesome place!
