Poconos Log Cabin Getaway

Situated on a heavily wooded 1.5 acre corner lot overlooking Beltzville Lake State Park, our log cabin home will comfortably sleep 11 people. Spring is a perfect time to visit the Poconos. Enjoy some Spring skiing, migrating birds, a trip to the Jim Thorpe Film Festival, or start off your mountain biking season! The cabin has three bedrooms, two full baths, a fully equipped kitchen and a two story great room. Perfect place to unplug and recharge with family and friends.

Overall, the place was great. Slight oder of sewage when you enter and the heating system was not working correctly. We had to shut off the heat via circut breaker. The outdoor fireplace needs to be replaced. Other than that, everything was great about the property. Check-in was real easy and the place was clean. Thank you.

Location is perfect to Jim Thorpe and Poconos, along with Beltzville Lake. House is so clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying at this "Log Cabin". BUT it is so much more, full wood burning stove, fire pit out back, plenty of parking, WIFI and all the amenities to make your stay easy and memorable.

The cabin was so cozy and a great place to have a little get away! The house layout was comfortable and accessible. The living room was great for a movie night and the basement was perfect for games and real talk. I would definitely choose this cabin again!

Perfect spot for the Blue Mountain Ski resort. Owners of property were easily accessible for any concerns that we may had. We would consider staying here again next year

Family Weekend Getaway

This Chalet was clean, safe, and is the perfect location for our extended family of ten with pre-teens and teens. There was plenty of room for us to feel comfortable. We spent the days at nearby Jim Thorpe Whitewater rafting and at Blue Mountain Adventure Park. Our host Jen was readily available to us. We recommend this home and look forward to staying in the Winter as well.

Great!

First time using VRBO.. 3 families with 4 kids for a skiing weekend. Clean mountain vibe, very accommodating. Would be nice to have a TV on the floor with the kitchen because the kids wanted to be in same area as adults but there is a nice set up downstairs with tv and couches it just wasn't used for our group and all wished the TV were on the main floor. But other than that it was perfect! Communication with the owners was quick and great too. I'd stay again!

Blue Mountain Ski Trip Weekend

Love this cabin

We are repeat renters here. Love staying at this cabin when we ski Blue Mountain. Its so nice to be able to unplug and just enjoy family time here. I love that there's a crockpot available so we can come home to a home cooked meal after skiing all day. Because of all the beds available, we can comfortably stay here with two other families and all of the kids play-- we even got a game of Harry Potter Monopoly in next to the wood stove. We stayed here for several years prior, and are happy the new owners have kept the place just like the previous ones. Will definitely be back!

We are Jen and Mike, the owners of this beautiful log cabin situated in the Pocono Mountains. When we're not working, you can find us enjoying the outdoors with our two children.

Our log cabin is quietly situated in the Pocono mountains. Blue Mountain, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, camelback, Kalahari, and new indoor water parks are all just a short drive away. Nearby attractions include The Historic Town of Jim Thorpe, Pocono International Raceway, and Penn's Peak (a great place for big name entertainment and a spectacular view of the Blue Mountain Ridge), to name a few.
Our log home will comfortably sleep 11 people. There are 2 full baths and all linens and basic supplies are included. The fully equipped kitchen is next to a large dining area and a two story great room. There is comfortable seating in the living room and a wood stove provides warmth on chilly nights (traditional electric heat is also available in each room). There’s a large screen TV with DVD player, WiFi throughout the house, washer and dryer, and plenty of parking. Sorry no pets and no smoking inside. Guests must either be families or adults over age 25. There is a binder on the dining room table with information on what to do, where to eat, where to go, and local attractions.
