Walk down to Painted Rock Beach, explore Seaside Cove, play on the nearby Seaside Golf Course, or take the kids to the Captain Kid Amusement Park for mini-golf and go-karts, all within a mile of this expansive and accommodating three-level home! Perfect for a family reunion, holiday celebration, or other group gatherings, this unique beach house offers something new and exciting around every corner.

Start with delicious meals prepared in the open, chef's kitchen complete with deluxe cabinetry and upgraded stainless steel appliances to make meal prep a breeze! Dine at the enormous farm table indoors, then spread out and discover multiple living spaces, including a main-level room with a table and chairs, sofas, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and microwave - perfect for rainy day board games or lazy afternoon reading. The main living area is adjacent to this space and offers plush leather furnishings and a TV for streaming your favorite channels.

You'll also find a fun-tastic game room with a pool table, upright arcade game cabinet, and foosball table. The expansive loft includes a shuffleboard table, ensuring plenty of opportunities for friendly competition throughout this home.

Outdoors, gather around the firepit as the stars come out overhead.

When it's time to turn in for the day, choose from the comfortable bedrooms, including a separate suite with its own kitchenette and a kid-friendly loft!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect for Family Celebration

The house was perfect for our large multi-generational group. The large separate bedroom suites for the adults and the loft for all the cousins was such a great set-up. Adults can hang out in the kitchen while the kids shot pool and played foosball! The kitchen was well appointed, we had everything we needed and more. We loved being out of the bustle of downtown seaside but steps away from the beach. We will definitely be back again!

Family weekend getaway

There was three separate family units, 1 senior couple. Family of four, dad/mom, 5 year, 3 year. Family of 5, dad/mom, 7 year, 5 year, 3 year. We were able to have areas of the house for enough separation for sleepingLots of fun things to do in the house, games and age appropriate activities. Great kitchen to prepare meals in and large dinning table for all 11 of us to sit around.

Vacation on the Oregon Coast

The place is huge, so many different bedrooms and relaxing areas. The two different firepits were awesome and the location to the beach was amazing. In addition, they had everything you could imagine in the kitchen to make some great dinners, thanks for sharing your place with my ten family members!

What a great stay on the pacific coast.

This house was a perfect fit for our 15 people. The house was clean and everything was in working order. Game rooms had what was needed and the game tables were in great shape. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need which made the stay great as we prepared many meals in the house.

Another great trip for Umatilla Softball to the Seaside Tournament

The Umatilla softball team finds A Slice of Life to be a perfect spot to host our high school team during the spring break tournament at Seaside. There is enough space for our small team and a couple coaches to comfortably host dinners and keep the team entertained with small group activities like the impromptu singing competition in front of the big fireplace.

Large home with many amenities and excellent beach access. Bathrooms and bedsheets clean upon arrival; however, home very dusty throughout. Outside garbage cans full upon arrival and not picked up by city for three days. Kitchen lacking in some necessities… only one medium frying pan, minimal large utensils, two thin pot holders, no Tupperware for leftover food storage. No instruction booklet for in home amenities (I.e. gas fire pit, fireplaces, tv/cable). Also no smaller amenities such as lighters or pen and paper. Living room space not conducive for large groups… home sleeps 15, living room holds 5. Tankless water-heater a plus. Poor upstairs ventilation on hot days. Overall, good space for large groups. With max capacity, we never felt crowded and enjoyed our time.

Family Gathering for our 50th Wedding Anniversary

We are a 5th generation family visiting Seaside. All of us were visiting from the mid-west, eight adults and 4 children. We loved this house! We all enjoyed the game room during down time. The kitchen was huge and had lots of equipment and plenty of dishes and flatware for our large group. The refrigerator was plenty big enough for our needs. We were a short walk from the beach and we actually saw whales! The house was well equipped with a barbecue and beach chairs. We really recommend this home for your visit!

Goonies Tour 2024

The slice of life house is the most unique vacation house we have rented, and we have rented many. There are all kinds of interesting relics and artifacts displayed in the cabin like house. The house needs some detailed attention to dusting and minor maintenance, and it would be fantastic. The location is desirable. Walk out the front door, walk about 300 feet on a gravel pass and you are at the beach. This part of the beach is very quiet for the most part but only a mile from all of the touristy, restaurants, shops, etc. 15 miles from Astoria, Six or 7 miles from Eola and canon beach… Fantastic location

Excellent group stay

Spent Friendsgiving here with 8 friends and had a great time. It's a really unique, kinda quirky (in a good way) house, lots of rooms to explore and unusual little areas to discover. The beds are comfortable, with lots of really nice Pendleton blankets. The kitchen is awesome. We cooked all full Thanksgiving turkey feast and had almost every we needed. The main gas stove is epic, and there's a second electric oven. That was so useful. The beach is super quick and easy to access. We'll certainly return at some point.

Great location

Great location, close to beach but hard to get wagons, across. Perfect for multi families, kids room was awesome. Definitely an older house with “charm”, smells older and a little like mildew in some areas. Some doors didn’t work, anti slip for rugs and a deep clean would be nice. Lots and lots of stuff! Listed as a non smoking property but lots of cigarette butts in the drive way. Nice to have access to garage to store bikes, lots of equipment available (bikes, beach chairs, etc). Overall good stay.
