We loved the direct access to the beach. The unit was nice and clean. New appliances in the kitchen. The couch could use an upgrade. The cushions are very small and its difficult for adults to sit on it comfortably. We loved the massage recliner.

We got the room on the beach with our own private access and it was amazing. Room was beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice. Staff was great and the parking was perfect. We will be booking with RVA every year.

Love the beach, condo in need of TLC

The beach, pool, and common areas were fabulous. The condo is in much need of TLC. My elderly parents and kids couldnt open the sliding glass door because it is rusted and wont stay in the track. Main bathroom has a rusty tub and molded tile. The dishwasher leaked and the condo is not well equiped to use the kitchen. For the price we expected a more updated condo. As native Floridians we understand recovering from hurricanes, but some of the issues are easily fixable. The unit also needs a vacuum for guests to clean. The unit was dirty upon arrival. We had to clean bacon off the counters and floor.

Very clean, wonderful refurbished from last years hurricane, comfortable beds and plenty of linens.As a local but 20 miles East of the beach this is my best option for a calm peaceful beach few days.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was right on the beach with great access. The apartment was nice and had some room. My main complaints would be the cleanliness and conditions. For example, the utensil tray was very dirty and we felt we had to wash everything before we used it. Secondly, there were quite a few ants. We had a good time and enjoyed the location but doubt we will ask for this particular unit again. The RVA agents are very nice and accommodating so we will definitely use RVA again.

It works well for a multigenerational vacation - each family has their own space. We like the pool area and the proximity of the beach with lounge chairs available although this year one morning they were not unlocked til 10:30. The units are clean but some are a little dated. Everyone looks forward to our family vacation at Silver sands - this year we had 15!

Disappointed returning customer

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this resort in this unit for decades. I feel like the quality of the unit is not worth the ever increasing cost. Although we appreciate the beautiful view, there are items in the unit that have needed repair/replacement for years. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable and the sliding door is now almost impossible to open. In addition this year the refrigerator was missing a shelf making the food storage limited especially when you’re accommodating a family for a week. Lastly, for the price I feel that if you’re not going to include daily cleaning you should at least have a team that removes trash and replaces linens in your room. In the current condition I would not recommend the unit. In fact we did not reserve for our vacation next year even though we have been there for over 25 years :(

Nice place for a competitive price

Pros: - Location of our unit was right on the beach. - Umbrellas and chairs provided. - Beach was not busy in mid June. - Pool was nice. - AC was incredible. Cons: - I realize what goes with being so close to the water but it could have used a bleaching in the bathroom to get rid of the moldy corners. - Wifi wasn't that good. Overall I'd stay there again

Great spot on the beach

We have an active five year old and we loved this place. The beach out the front and the pool out the side. We loved having a kitchen to save on going out to eat all the time.

We now have to clean out rooms, take the trash out, and out dishwasher was broken. For the price we are charged, this small lack of services was huge. I felt bad for the front desk managers, they had to do so much more because they were the only people on the property.

She takes great care of all your renters. She is a valued representative for your company. we expect to see her back next year!This is our 2nd yr at SS & as was last year, the overall experience was great. This was our 1st stay in #249. The unit gets high marks in the areas of HVAC, tvs, water pressure. It really had everything we needed. I'm thinking that after this year, the LR sofa might need to be replaced, but otherwise the furnishings were good - beds were very comfortable - the decor very pleasing. As you will see below, we gave 5 stars to all your questions. We are booked for next year and can't wait to return.

Wouldn't recommend this condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in this condo before, 5 years ago, and it has gone downhill since then. The furniture was the same, just much older and dirtier. The lanai had holes in the screen causing us to get eaten alive, there was black mold growing on the paint just below the sliding glass doors, and the paint on the floor of the lanai was bubbling up in certain areas and flaked off in others. Lastly, we couldn't get in the room until well after our check in time because the cleaners took over two hours to complete the cleaning from the previous tennants.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid $3,300 for a week in the off season and our room was not clean. A lot of things broken also. The bathtub had a ring of dirt around it. Also the toilet. There was sand on our couch. The fridge had a broken shelf that was taken out and a broken drawer. the oven was dirty inside and the baking trays weren't cleaned. Paint peeling off our door. I have pics of everything. The office lady said she couldn't do anything and we had to call a 1800 number. We will not be back.

We will definitely come back and the only recommendation I have is for 2 of the beds to be updated or replaced please and those are the twin bed in the second room and the sofa bed , as they were not as comfortable.Thank you so much for great memories

Step out the back door to your toes in the sand

This is the third annual beach trip for me and 3 of my girlfriends. Best set up we have seen. Less than 100 steps to a beach that is surrounded by private residences resulting in this property pretty much having a long stretch of beach to itself. NICE, sturdy lounge chairs are kept on the beach - no dragging them between your unit and the beach. Unit is small, but slept 4 of us easily. Full kitchen - pretty well-equipped. Pool are was nice - very clean - gas grills available for use. Office offers beach umbrellas for use at no charge. Wagons are available for unpacking/packing your vehicle. Definitely recommend!!!
