Great Views

Was the perfect spot for my son and I to stay. Super close to the beach and amazing views of the gulf. Would stay again for sure.

Gulf front beauty

Lovely, well-appointed unit facing Gulf. Appreciated the outstanding service of the property manager. Any issues were handled promptly while also managing the cleanup and restoration of first floor units from hurricanes. Large warm pool was wonderful. We will return in March.

Beautiful view

This is the best view we have had on LBK. Room 254 apartment, stunning of the gulf. Beautiful pool too. Unfortunately prices almost doubled for next season

Pleasant stay

The place is roomy and nice and big, nice view.But as soon we got there the toilet was not working we had to flush it by touching the float each time cause maintenance wasn’t available till the next morning. The other thing we weren’t crazy about for a condo that when you walk in you’re in the bedroom so when you open the door people can look right in. Despite all that we would probably stay again.Thanks Silver Sands

Great condo!!

Last minute getaway for 2. The resort has easy access to beach chairs, umbrella, floats and some toys for kids. We had a great view and the condo had everything we needed. We had groceries delivered and took Ubers to dinner. The nice women at the front office even helped revive our groceries when we couldn’t make it back on time. Will definitely recommend and will book again!

Personal Paradise

This is the very best place to stay on any beachin FL. The beach view as soon as you walk into the room is stunning. The room was clean, conveniently located and stocked with the right amount of towels, amenities for the first night. We ran to the Publix a few miles down the road and got coffee, cream and a few snacks. The kitchen has plates and cookware. Beach chairs, umbrellas and floats were available for use. It's like having your own private beach. My husband and I enjoyed this stay very much and will be back a lot!

Last Minute Getaway

We had the opportunity to do a last minute getaway and ran across this gem. The property and location were exactly what we were looking for. Check in was quick and everyone was helpful. The weather was amazing and we loved the fact that the condo was away from the tourist area but within minutes to stores/restaurants. The beach and ocean are beautiful and reminded us of the Caribbean vacation we had to cancel in April. Our room was great! It was very clean and had everything we needed. I loved sitting out on the screened in balcony looking out at the pool and ocean. It was a treat to actually have a pool that was warm enough for me to walk right into - we spent many hours in it. This is definitely a place we will be going back to!

Our room was very clean and nice had every thing we needed. A beautiful view of the ocean. Steps away from the ocean. The beach was beautiful. Felt like our own private beach there were only a few people on it every day. The town was very quaint not busy at all.

Peaceful and beautiful view

The condo was very clean and the perfect size for us. We loved our view, especially. Some things we noticed that might improve a guest's stay: 1) A ceiling fan and better lighting in the bedroom would have been nice 2) The mattress was VERY hard, so we didn't really get good sleep 3) When the towels/sheets were changed, we didn't get more toilet paper 4) When someone cleaned up the empty beer and water bottles on the kitchen counter, they also threw out a paper towel that held several shark teeth on it -- these were not small teeth -- it was obvious what they were and that we were saving them, along with a couple dozen shells and sand dollars 5) Brighter lighting in the bathroom would be great The beach access and numerous lounge chairs to choose from was WONDERFUL! We hope to come back to Silver Sands and enjoy the property and beautiful beach again in years to come!!! Thank you for a great vacation!

Nice place with "old Florida" feel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After failing to book online in time, we showed up on Longboat Key with the hopes of being able to just walk in. Margaret was along at the desk, and it was raining, but she gladly got up, handed my wife a towel, and walked us to three separate units to tour. When I worried about leaving wet footprints in the ones we didn't choose, she said "no worries" and said she'd have housekeeping touch up after us. She was VERY accommodating. The unit we chose was very clean and had a wonderful view over the pool and to the ocean beyond. While the lighting available in the living room and bathroom was very dim (new-appearing fixtures but not much light coming out of them), we could make up for it by spending time at the very pleasant pool (some floats provided), on the beach, or on the very large screened porch. If/when we return to Longboat Key, I'm sure we'll stay here again!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is cute and has a great beach and pool view. Unfortunately, not everyone follows the no smoking rule, and during our stay, more than one other guest smoked and sent smoke wafting into our lanai. Very unpleasant. There is no enforcement of the no smoking in condos rule. The bed was comfortable, beach towels are ample. The biggest turnoff was that ALL of the flatware, plates, bowls, and glasses had dried food all over them and greasy fingerprints. Apparently, the previous guest ran the dishwasher with no soap, and the food remained. Housekeeping either didn't notice or didn't care to notice and didn't have clean hands when placing in the cabinets. We didn't report this until the day we were leaving, because who wants to ruin their vacation by having the first thing they do go complain about dirty dishes? We arrived at 5:00 pm on Friday and I highly doubt someone would have come at that time. We did not want housekeeping to come and disturb our very first day by handwashing all of the flatware, bowls, plates, and glasses. Also, the inside of the microwave hadn't been cleaned and the inside of the bathroom cabinet hadn't been cleaned. All of this to say that we don't plan to return. Far to much money to pay for a week to have dirty parts of the condo. The rest of the condo was clean.
