This sublime oceanfront studio is directly on the pristine white sands and serene blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico in exclusive Longboat Key, Florida! Located on the ground floor (no stairs!), directly overlooking the heated pool and ocean, this dreamy studio condo is optimal for sunset viewing from a private lanai. Take a 10-second walk to the pool and onward to the secluded beach with loungers. Enjoy a relaxing vacation at our peaceful condo at The Beach on Longboat Key Resort!
Also, if you want to vacation with friends or family, we own two upstairs unit, #222 and #224, as well...!
Upon arrival to The Beach on Longboat Key Resort, you will be wowed by this tropical property! Conveniently located mid-island on Longboat Key, on Gulf of Mexico Drive, this small, intimate resort, only 15 units, has so much to offer: direct, private beach access, heated pool, BBQ grill, pool and beach loungers, and onsite laundry.
When you arrive, make your way to our condo, Unit 103, on the ground floor (Look for the seashell doormat!), for optimal sunset viewing! The condo has a smart lock for smooth entry and exit. Each guest is assigned a secure, individualized 4-digit code (deleted upon departure!), allowing for 24/7 arrival and freedom from carrying a key when on the beach...!
Upon entering, you will walk through a small entryway to view the main living space. Our condo features a queen-size bed, along with a queen-size sleeper sofa for the extra members of your party - the little ones! There is a Smart television, with cable, for entertainment when you're not beaching it, along with a variety of reading material, board games, and children's toys. WiFi, of course, is available throughout! Also, there is a closet and underbed storage for belongings for a quick weekend getaway or a month-long stay...! For family use, we have a Pack 'N Play - convenient!
The kitchen (dishwasher!), is fully stocked (coffee maker - drip and Keurig, blender, Tupperware, knife set, wine glasses, etc.), including everything you might need to cook meals in on the days you prefer not to dine out...!
The bathroom features only a shower for water conservation on the island!
Beyond the main living space is a large, private lanai, with table and chairs, ideal for eating a meal or sipping a cocktail! There is also a deck box with beach toys too!
The condo has both central heat and air. There is a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, as well.
On property, there is a heated pool with deck and loungers! Grab a sun umbrella from our closet and stroll to the private beach with more lounge chairs. No need to bring your own!
A propane grill is on the lawn with grilling utensils in our unit!
On the ground floor of The Beach complex, there is a free washer and dryer if needed during your trip. There is also a main dumpster for easy trash disposal.
The best part of our condo is the direct ocean view and private beach access - just sublime!

1. Upon arrival, the condo will be prepared with fresh bed linens, bathroom towels, and beach towels.

2. For our condo, there is one parking spot available - park wherever you like within the lot! Due to the size of the parking lot, unfortunately, no guest cars or trailers can be accommodated because it will take a spot away from another condo.
3. Please note our condo is a 330 sq-ft studio best suited for one-two adults or one-two adults plus one-two children in the sleeper sofa, and/or one in the Pack 'N Play, if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations for over two adults due to sleeping arrangement comfort. If it is a unique situation, feel free to message me to discuss further. Hello!
My name is Heidi, and I live in Oklahoma City with my husband, Jeff, seven-year-old daughter, Louisa, three-year-old son, Teddy, three beloved dogs, Milton, Marvin, and Kramer, and two playful kitties, Maple and Willow!
Originally from Upstate New York (the Fingerlakes region!), I grew up vacationing on Longboat Key as my parents owned a condo at the nearby Diplomat Beach Resort. It's a peaceful island full of beautiful memories for me. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase on LBK, my husband and I jumped at the chance, and bought our sweet little studio at The Beach in October 2020, followed by our beautiful one-bedroom in February 2021 at Silver Sands, and last (for now), our second Beach studio in September 2024. It's been a marvelous experience owning on the island and hosting so many amazing guests!
To learn a little more about me, other than managing our condos and raising two children, I teach and take yoga (vinyasa flow!) classes, foster the most wonderful dogs and cats (100+!) through our local Oklahoma Humane Society, read for monthly book club, and spend way too much money gardening!
For us, vacation is important. It's a beautiful gateway for reconnecting with spouses, bonding with children, celebrating special events, and reinvigorating oneself. We take vacation seriously and want it done right from booking onward...! A positive guest experience is paramount, and we approach each guest party as if it's our very first one - ready to impress!

Our condo, The Beach, Unit 103, is located within The Beach on Longboat Key Resort on beautiful, quiet Longboat Key, which is a barrier island just outside Sarasota, Florida. The condo is situated toward the northern end of LBK with easy access to many other fun local tourist spots, like Coquina Beach, Holmes Beach, and Anna Maria Island to the North and Lido Key and Siesta Key to the South.

Longboat Key, Florida, is easily reachable by flying into Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, which is an easy 24-minute (15-mile drive) to the condo.
You can also fly into Tampa International Airport, which often offers cheaper flight options, and is just a 1 hr, 20-minute (59 mile) drive away.
For ease and convenience, we do recommend renting a car while on the island. Along Gulf of Mexico Drive, where the condo is located, there is an extensive, paved multiuse walkway (10 miles!) ideal for walking and biking for pleasure, exercise, and purpose. Although you can use this walkway to get you to a few nearby restaurants, they are spread out with no main cluster. Likewise, with a car, restaurants and attractions are just a quick 5 - 10 minute drive for most!
If you decide not to rent a car, consider calling one of the following to schedule airport transportation or specific restaurant/activity rides: Longboat Key Transportation, Elite Sedan Services, or Bewitched a Curated Concierge Service. Uber (download the app) is available too, but remember their availability is contingent on time of year, day of week, time, etc.
Due to the petite size of The Beach parking lot, if you are driving to the condo, one parking space is allowed per unit. There is no room for additional cars (second family member car, guest car), jet-skis, trailers, etc. Each car requires a parking pass from the main office.
