Step into Cabin 04 at the historic Ponderosa Lodge, where the Old West meets modern comfort with a playful twist. This recently remodeled vintage studio is the perfect pet-friendly retreat for two, located just minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs, Iron Mountain Hot Springs, and the famous Glenwood Hot Springs Pool.

Sleep soundly on a plush Queen bed and relax in the cozy seating area featuring two unique barrel chairs. The space is designed for intimate living with a small dining table and stools perfect for breakfast or a quiet evening meal.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Prepare your favorite meals in a kitchen stocked with everything you need for two:
Appliances: Full-size stove, large mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
Staples: Coffee, creamer, sugar, and tea provided.
Dining: Complete set of dishes, cups, and silverware for two.
Please clean all dishes, pans, pots, and the stove after use.

Entertainment & Bath Unwind with a 42" Smart TV (high-speed internet included) or enjoy the updated bathroom featuring a sleek corner round shower with a glass enclosure.

This is our 3rd year staying at the cabins at Ponderosa Lodge. We love this place! We’ve stayed in 3 different cabins and all have been great. Beautiful view of the red mountain right across the road!

No pets with us. At first I wasn’t sure when we drove up since it was so close to the road. However it was very cute and inviting on the inside! Instantly the host spoke with us about the history of the property. So interesting! He was currently updating another cabin. It’s family owned and I appreciate the simplicity of the cabin. It’s was just our style. Pictures include our e-bikes

Easy Driving Access to Glenwood Springs

This property is from the 50's and looks like they are continously trying to keep it functional. The location is FABULOUS but they need to do major renovations on the outside of each cabin. Decorations inside are nice but clean the air vents, paint the radiators, update the outdoor lighting, Alum or cedar side the units so that you don't have to paint them all the time. Level the concrete.

We're excited to share that we've been working hard on a full property renovation. We've completed the interiors of all the cabins and have just started on the exterior upgrades. Your suggestions for the outside are right in line with our plans, and we're looking forward to sharing the beautiful new look with you soon. We've also made a note of your feedback about the air vents and radiators and will be sure to address those points. We hope you'll visit us again to see the exciting changes firsthand!

Cute cabin! Check in was a bit difficult. When I first booked the cabin months ago I was emailed a link that had all my check in information and I had a hard time finding that email. There wasn’t anyone that answered the phone so I had to wait until the host could re text me the link before we could check in. Other than that, it had all the things we needed and was a nice place to stay. It is a cabin so some things are rustic and not brand new but it’s clean and works great!

I felt very comfortable in my cabin. Parking was off the street and next to my cabin which made it convenient taking my bags from my car to the cabin. There was a sweet little kitchen and a nice updated bathroom. The bed was comfy and the air conditioner did it's job during a couple of days that were in the 90's. I loved opening my curtains and having a full view of the mountain first thing in the morning. Taking my dog out was a breeze because there are several grassy areas that were steps away from most of the cabins. The grass was well groomed and therefore inviting for humans and four leggeds :)
