FireFly Creek 2.9 Miles to Highlands

Thank you for choosing Firefly Creek for your visit to magical Highlands, North Carolina! Attached you’ll find all the important information you’ll need for your stay, including our favorite things to do and eat in the area. Please take a look and print the welcome letter to bring with you for easy reference. If for some reason the phone number on the reservation is not your cell, please text our property caretaker Tami & Carl (Phone number provided on booking) They welcome any questions you might have about our home and the area. Your door code will be the last 4 digits of the phone number you provided on your reservation and check in is at 4pm. You will find the cabin stocked with a fully equipped kitchen, linens, and other important supplies. You’ll also be close to a market for anything else you might need. If you will be visiting with your pup, we have food and water bowls, dog friendly towels, waste disposal bags and designated covers for the furniture. The Firefly is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage perfect for a weekend getaway, extended vacation, artist’s retreat, or working remotely when you just need to escape the city. The master has a king-sized bed with an ensuite full bath and the second bedroom has a queen bed with a full bathroom in the hall. There are also 2 foldout cots and extra bedding at your disposal that provide additional sleeping for up to six people total. All bathrooms are newly renovated and the full bathrooms have heated floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and every creature comfort you might need to feel at home. Outside, there are two screened in porches, an uncovered deck, and a firepit along the waterfront. The cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood with abundant wildlife in the Horse Cove area, and there is designated parking for up to three cars. Dogs are permitted at the Firefly for an additional fee and we have plenty of pup friendly amenities for our doggy guests. Although we welcome children to the Firefly, please note that due to the nature of the railing that surrounds the staircase, the cabin is not suitable for toddlers or very little ones who are at a high risk of falling down stairs.
