Amazing Weekend Getaway

Had a great time with our family of 5 and 2 puppies! Great location in between multiple wineries and only 15 minutes to get to the boat docks for the lake! Carly was an amazing host and very responsive!

Carly was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. We needed a place to stay last minute and she did everything in her power to get us into her property with very little notice. The property is beautiful and very well appointed with everything you might need for your stay. The kitchen especially was equipped for us, who love to cook. Thanks again Carly, we can’t wait to come back!

Great Home Near Bristol Mountain

Heron House was a fantastic property, and located very close to Bristol Mountain. The house was great and easily met our needs, and Carly was amazing to work with and checked in on us very regularly to make sure everything was okay or to see if we needed anything. Can't wait for our next stay!

Weekend Getaway

The house was exactly as described in listing. Easy to check in, clean, and plenty of space. We enjoyed our winter stay, close to Bristol Mountain and relaxing/peaceful as we came back to house is evening. Host was very responsive to any of our questions.

The perfect stay!

Our family takes 6+ trips to the finger lakes each year, with that we have stayed in many different homes. This one by far has been the cleanest, coziest, and just perfect over all. Carly was helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

Perfect porch

This home is spacious and they have thought of everything you could possibly want. The kitchen was equipped with two ovens that we needed and put to good use. Beautiful view in a quiet, private setting. We enjoyed staying here very much, the host was very helpful and communication was great.

Owner was very friendly and responsive, however , for the high price point of this off the lake property it was in serious need of a thorough cleaning and maintenance . We had to sweep the porch , screens were missing or very dirty some window screens were laying on the porch , overgrown exterior and stained bed linens , stove and oven were dirty , garbage in basement laundry room had not been emptied in quite some time.

Born and raised in Rochester, NY I grew up visiting the Finger Lakes. As a competitive swimmer, I swam across Canandaigua Lake several times (width wise!) with my teammates. Now that I’m a little older, with two little ones in tow, and two fur babies, I
enjoy spending time with my family – baking, cooking, hiking, swimming, and traveling.

The Heron House is the perfect place for a family gathering, a romantic getaway, or summer lake vacation. On the first floor you will find: 1 master bedroom, full bath, living room, kitchen, and wrap-around porch overlooking the lake. There is a half bath on this floor as well. On the second floor you will find: 3 bedrooms (1 of which can be used as a second master as it has a private walk out overlooking Canandaigua Lake), and full bath.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you’ll need to cook for you and a family – or two! The basement includes both laundry and games for most ages.

Please note that this house is on septic, please only flush toilet paper down the toilet. This house is not handicap accessible.

- Large TV in the living room and basement
- Hi Speed WIFI

Pets
Well behaved pets are permitted on the property. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. The fee is $50 fee per dog. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. An extra cleaning fee will be applied should we need additional pet clean up services. Dogs are not permitted to sleep on the beds. Please note that there is no fenced in area on the property for your dog to run around.
