Modern Beach Cottage - 3 Bed 2 Bath - Dog Friendly

Welcome to Vacation Road House! Enjoy this stylish coastal cottage for your shore getaway. This totally renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath house sleeps 6 comfortably. It is a short walk to the bay beach and beautiful sunsets. No pet fees!

Linens provided May through September -- breathable microfiber eco-friendly sheets and cotton bath towels.

Only 3 miles to dinner and sunset cocktails at Harpoons on the Bay or several breweries and wineries. 7 miles to the many attractions of Cape May or 9 miles to Wildwood beach. Wherever your adventures take you, you will come home to a pristine, but comfortable, environment.

We are a dog-friendly property! We accept two dogs of any size with no fee. Contact us to ask about a third pup. There is a one time fee of $100 for your third dog if accepted. The fully-fenced backyard with grass and a shade tree is very popular with families who bring their dogs on vacation. A short walk away are the free Delaware Bay beaches. Leashed dogs are welcome on the beach at all hours in the off season, and before 11 a.m. and after 4 p.m. in season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

The cottage was fully renovated in 2022. The kitchen has quartz countertops, and stainless steel refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. Glasses, dishes, and silverware are provided, as well as a coffeemaker and toaster. There is eat-in seating for six in the spacious kitchen and additional seating is just outside in the fully fenced-in back yard. Stacked washer and dryer are conveniently located in the laundry closet in the kitchen.

Both bathrooms are beautifully renovated as well, with attractive finishes including gorgeous tile. Both bathrooms are entered from the hall. One has a low-entry shower (1 and 1/2 inch) and the other a standard size tub with showerhead. The living room and three bedrooms all showcase the original hardwood floors. There are two main bedrooms, each with queen beds, while the third room has a twin bed with pull-out trundle to sleep two.

Stay comfortable in any season with an up-to-date HVAC system, natural gas heat, and central air. For your entertainment we have fast wifi, a wall-mounted TV with Roku for streaming, and a few card games too!

The backyard has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Make use of the gas grill and grilling utensils for cookouts in the backyard! Outdoor seating includes picnic table dining for 6 along with 4 Adirondack chairs. Guests also have use of a market umbrella for the picnic table, 6 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a corn hole set. These are stored in the backyard guest shed.

For check-in dates from May 1 to Sept. 30, we provide pillows, pillow cases, fitted and flat sheets, as well as a light quilt and warmer comforter for each bed. We provide a bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth for each guest. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.

We supply starter hand soap, dish and dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels.
