A private mountain retreat designed for slow mornings, cozy nights, and unforgettable time together. Tucked away in the Northern Catskills, Bear House blends modern comfort with the beauty of nature — just 2 hours from NYC.

Whether you’re soaking in the year-round hot tub, gathering around the fire pit, working remotely with high-speed Wi-Fi, or spending the weekend reconnecting with family and friends, this is your cozy-meets-luxe Catskills escape. Bring the whole family—including the four-legged ones. Unlike most mountain stays, dogs stay absolutely free at Bear House ($0 pet fee) because a true vacation means no one gets left behind.

Great family get away

Great house for family gathering and close to attractions we were attending. Great layout with so much for the kids to do on the property. Highly recommend this property for your next get away.

Very Clean

We recently stayed here and I have to say it was the cleanest property we have stayed at. It was very comfortable and the children enjoyed having the hot-tub and ping pong table.

Laid Back Girl’s Weekend

This was the perfect house for our girls weekend. The house was cozy, and we all had space to curl up with a good book in the living room. Downstairs had a plethora of fun board games- and the hosts were attentive and quick to respond. Would highly recommend.

Cairo House

This property was perfect. The house was exceptionally clean and inviting. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the hot tub and ping pong table. The property was centrally located so we were able to enjoy days in Hudson and Windham. It was a great way to ring in the New Year with family and friends.

A Truly Cozy Getaway with Friends

This place is such a great value—beautiful, private, well thought out. Upon entering the cozy home, we were greeted with warmth and comfort. House has everything you need to make you feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the well-equipped kitchen. We prepared delicious meals and enjoyed our creations in the charming dining area. Birthday weekend

Mile stone weekend for birthdays. We had a wonderful time in Hudson for the day. Which was an extremely hot day!! It was wonderful to come to the house sit on the deck and enjoy the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. Wonderful time. Thank you.
