{Village Retreat} Luxury Mountain Townhome Pet-Friendly

Village Retreat is a Luxurious Townhome located in North Asheville, under 10 minutes from Downtown and convenient to all that the area has to offer. Our home has incredible mountain views, the most comfortable, high-end furnishings and a dedicated office space (with fast, fiber internet!) for working remotely. We welcome you and your well-behaved pups for a relaxing and enjoyable stay of 30 Nights or more.

You will arrive at our mountainside neighborhood and park either inside our 2-car garage or in the driveway. Our welcoming foyer provides comfortable seating for removing your shoes and a coat closet for storing your belongings. Take the stairs to the second floor where our inviting, open-concept living area awaits. The dining area features a modern light fixture and a custom, local and handmade dining table that seats up to 8. The adjoining chef’s kitchen is full of light and boasts beautiful, counter to ceiling tile, granite countertops, high-end stainless appliances, including a gas range, and every dining and cooking utensil you could want or need. And best of all, there are spectacular mountain views from the kitchen sink.

The laundry room is conveniently tucked behind a barn door, adjacent to the dining area. And beside that, you’ll find a powder room. The kitchen and dining area flows into the comfortable living room where our guests will enjoy ample seating for relaxing or being entertained by our see-through gas fireplace or our TV. You’ll find additional, extra comfy rocking chairs outside, on our adjacent deck. This is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee by the fireplace on a crisp, mountain morning or a glass of wine as you take in our incredible mountain sunsets. Our Weber grill is connected to the gas line for convenient barbequing.

Our Primary Suite is just off the living area and features a King Bed with the most luxurious, linen Pottery Barn sheets, Hunter Douglas black-out shades (remote operated), SmartTV, ample storage and a convenient door to the back yard for walking the dogs. The En Suite bath offers a spa-like experience with the softest Pottery Barn towels, double sinks, a custom tile shower, a water closet and a large, walk-in closet with a dresser.

The top floor is thoughtfully designed for comfort, privacy, and versatility, housing two guest bedrooms, a full hall bath, and a dedicated office—all complemented by a hall closet stocked with games and puzzles for relaxed evenings in. One guest room features a comfortable queen bed, Roku TV, and panoramic mountain views, while the second offers a queen bed, Roku TV, and a private ensuite bath with double sinks and a separate toilet and tub/shower area. Both bedrooms include spacious closets and dressers for easy unpacking.

Also located on this level, the dedicated office is perched for maximum privacy and showcases one of the most breathtaking vantage points in the home. With layered mountain views, high-speed fiber internet for seamless virtual meetings, and a hidden secondary desk tucked inside the spacious closet—ideal for a printer or additional tech—this space balances productivity with inspiration. A cozy glider across from the desk offers the perfect spot to recharge while taking in the scenery from your third-story lookout.

The Office area is well set up for remote working, with a large desk. You’ll love all of the light in this space, but try not to get distracted by more, amazing mountain views! There is a second desk in the closet, and a light and electrical outlet if you need to set up additional equipment for your work. Take a break in our comfortable lounge chair, or relax and read a book. Either way, our high-speed, fiber optic internet will ensure that your productivity will never be limited, aside from those distracting views!

Our Village Retreat is a fantastic home base for your extended stay in the Asheville area. We are located in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by full time residents. We welcome you to bring up to 2 dogs for your stay. A quaint “village” is just down the hill and you have a couple of restaurants and the YMCA gym within walking distance. Grocery stores, Beaver Lake, I-26 and most Asheville amenities are minutes away. With a functional layout, upscale furnishings, breathtaking mountain views and a convenient location, Village Retreat is the perfect home away from home.
