So glad you enjoyed your stay and we are so happy the trail is open again. It was completely obliterated by Helene, but our neighbor spent a lot of time and effort removing all the downed trees and rebuilding the trail.

Thanks so mich for your wonderful review! Our favorite aspect of the property is the peaceful natural setting. Our neighbor has almost complere rebuilding the access trail to the Blue Rodge Parkway/Mountains to Sea trail.

So glad you enjoyed the house. The location is definitely one of the key selling points in that the house is tucked away in a nature, but still very close to Asheville and just outside the city limits. Please come and stay with us again sometime. - Rodney

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Duckers Corner. We do work very hard to keep the house clean, safe and enjoyable. We do typically provide coffee and fIlters and Im so sorry you were not able to find any. We try to gove our guests ample supplies of any and all necessities such as paper towels, toilet paper, shampp, conditioneer and soap, and we would absolutely bring those items to our guests if they are missing for some unforseen reason. As for games, there are several on the bookshelf downstairs such as Trivial PursuIt, Mancala, Monopoly, Poker set with cards, Cranium, Scrabble, not to mentions PS3, with many, many games. As for rotted dangerous stairs, that is sImply not true. I mean stairs in generaly do have inherent risk, and yes the deck is showing age, but the stairs are neither rotten nor dangerous, or no more dangerous than any pther set of stairs. It should also be notes that guests can park at parking spot at rear of hoise and there are only four stairs to climb to reach the main level of home. Also, there is a closet in the hall that contains multiple extra blankets. Perhaps labeling cabinets and closets that contain the supplies may help fiture guests find them a little easier, I‘m sorry you did not have them available to you during your stay, And for future guests, PLEASE feel free to reach out if you need any at all, as we really want to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
