The property did meet our needs for the weekend. The pool was closed I guess due to weather or time of year but everything else was very positive.

Awesome Stay

Home was awesome. Country feel on the outside with modern decor on the inside. Will definitely book here again on our next trip to Durant, Oklahoma.

Nice house and outdoor space, comfortable beds, good towels, pool is nice unfortunately it was too cool for us to enjoy it! There is not an icemaker in the fridge and the front door only locks by the deadbolt as the doorknob is broken. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Spacious and refreshing

Plenty of room for us 2, our 4 teens/preteens, and 2 grandparents. The pool was perfect for a quick refreshing dip or long relaxing lounge. There was a tiny glitch in getting info for access but quickly fixed with a call to the host. The home was perfect for a graduation weekend.

We couldn't get the dishwasher to work. No hot tub or spa tub. Otherwise very nice place.

We loved it !

We truly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was so cute and I loved going out running there. There was a sweet farm across the street and I loved walking over and loving on the horses. The house was very open and inviting. We hosted thanksgiving there with 14 people and it wasn’t crowded at all. The master bedroom was really big and plenty of room for our luggage and all the shopping I did! The only thing I would have a small complaint about was there were bi wash cloths anywhere to be found and very few towels. There were 4 of us so this was a problem. The location is really good as well ! Highly recommend!

Nice family home

Overall great place! We stayed 3 nights however we arrived at 2 am to the property with no check in instructions or anything had to wait and call to wake someone up so that was unfortunate but then we made dinner and went to clean up and the garbage disposal started backing up as did the dishwasher and the kitchen sink so had to wait till next day for plumber whom was extremely nice. My husband is a disabled vet and has a service animal about 25 pounds and we were given grief over that as well for almost 1000 bucks we definitely won’t take us and our 5 kiddos back to the property again !

You left the property with a broken door handle, promised to fix it, but left a lower quality handle that doesn't fit properly. The pet policy is clearly written and there is no way for us to know you brought a service dog. There was no communication about it from your end either. We obviously needed to inquire about the dog at some point. You are not welcome back to the property for sure since you did not mention about breaking the door handle either. We had to call and talk to you about that.

Quiet area

Had to call to get the code for the door. The owner was very apologetic. It wasn't sent prior. The house overall was okay. Outside was nice and relaxing very well lit at night. Inside the light switches had tape over the ones they didn't want you to use and some light switches were sunken into the wall. I step on something sharp in the master bedroom by the door. All the towels I used had musty odors even after washing them. The power went off twice for not even a minute at night but all the surrounding houses still had power. While packing up to leave the power went out but lucky the sun was rising and all the window let in a lot of morning sunshine. For the pricing it wasn't quite on par for the situation experienced.

Would I recommend staying here, not really.The only positive thing I can say is the property manager was very nice and did all she could to help us but the communication between the Host and the property manager was less than acceptable. The air conditioner was not working when we arrived. A repair crew however did arrive shortly after and said it would be 3 days to get the part. Then another guy came and changed the filter and it started cooling. This process took about 3 hours.So I will list the cons1. Ice maker doesn’t work2. Patio and furniture was filthy, totally unusable3. Pool was dirty, not just with falling leaves4. Shower needs corner racks instead of sitting toiletries on the floor5. No trash can in master bath6. Carpet in bedrooms and the living room furniture needs major cleaning 7. Pics show a Keurig coffee maker, we finally found it, in the garage, broken8. Finish on dining room table very very sticky 9. Windowsills and mini blinds were just nasty10. Very poor communication from host to property manager11. I asked for a discount due to the air conditioning issue. Three days later, still waiting on an answer12. Rockets on front porch are broken. Don’t sit in themPositive note: the house was roomyOpinion: pay a little more and stay somewhere else

My family stayed at this property over the weekend. First the house is pretty. Lots of space and clean. Had we had a better experience during our stay we would have recommended it. However, our experience was not great. We messaged the owner on VRBO messenger and never received a response. One of the doors was locked and we had to find something to unlock the door to access the third bedroom. When we arrived at the home the temp inside the home was 80 degrees. We turned down the air to 72 but it never caught up or went less than 76. When we woke up the next morning the thermostat had been moved from the 72 that we set it to 73. I'm not sure if it was an auto setting or if the owners were changing it but no matter what setting we put it on it would auto default to 73 but never got below 76. It was uncomfortable. The next morning we were in our room getting dressed and two men came onto the property. Scared me to death!!! They were there to mow! They opened the barn, mowed and did yard work. This was completely inappropriate while you have guests! Instead of getting to send time by the pool and relax, my family and I had to leave the property. First because of strangers being there and also my family having allergies. We came back several hours later and the barn door was left open and the mower was left in the middle of the yard. For the rest of the stay several family members had allergy symptoms due to the dirt and grass being kicked up during the mow.

We arrived Monday afternoon it was 90 degrees so everyone was looking forward to jumping in the pool. Unfortunately, it was filthy and had not been cleaned or setup for running until halfway through our trip. I called Vrbo who contacted the owner who stated that nothing could be done and it was probably going to rain the next day anyway. I contacted the owner again the next day, she was rude. Saying she wasn’t responsible for the weather and that the pool guy refused to come if it was raining, which I found very distressing because there was rain in the forecast for everyday we were there. There was also broken glass in cabinet, chair with bent or broken leg, horrible beds, the master bed has a huge hole on one side, the microwave and outlet were not working properly, the hvac and thermostat never got to temperature and there is no foosball table. The house needs to be updated badly and the owner needs to be kinder and more attentive. Overall, I feel I was overcharged, given the run around and treated rudely, we will not be back.

Cute place, but old. Pool was not cleaned and didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while. Not able to use the pool even though the weather was nice. The landscaping guy came bright and early to wake up the ones that were trying to sleep in and kicked up lots of dust. Sofas had stains. Toilet backup, fuse in kitchen went out while in the middle of cooking breakfast. Had to toss all my food and spend money to eat out for all of us. The host I was able to reach Nic was super nice and helpful. The front porch was nice to relax in the two rocking chairs.
