Welcome to our centrally located, Mountain IdaHome

Bring your family and bring your fur family!

Our hope, is that as you walk into our Mountain IdaHome, you feel the vibe of peace and relaxation. With whatever brings you to the area... whether your stay is short and sweet, or you need an extended stay, we are ready for you.

We have wanted this space to feel simple, but very far from basic. With nice amenities that you may or may not have at home, but still find nice and thoughtful to have and enjoy.

KICHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked with hopefully everything you could think you need for every meal, football/UFC snacks or even a stay through a holiday!

LIVING ROOM: The living room is meant to be a place you want to gather to hang out together. A place to sit back or snuggle up, put your feet up, laugh together with a game, watch a movie or your favorite TV show… or again… football or UFC. And if you fall asleep or need the extra sleep area, we have wanted to provide a comfortable place for that, too!

BATHROOM: The bathroom also has everything you need to be comfortable, and more! Help yourself to the soaps, shampoo,
conditioner and all of the towels.

OUTSIDE/BACKYARD: There is covered patio area for parking or extracurricular activity items. (Trailers, snow machines, 4wheelers, etc) The backyard is a work in progress, with the hopes and plans of a backyard hangout and oasis. A beautiful, covered eating area, with a nice, large table. A BBQ, outdoor cooler and games to play, unwind and have so much fun!

We hope to find as many products, art and photography as we can, that is made locally to share and display to be enjoyed by our guests.

Mountain IdaHome is in a great location in town. Walking distance to the city Library, parks and soon to be brand new city pool! There are wineries in the area, locally owned coffee shops, restaurants and activities/fairs throughout the year.

Mountain Home is centrally located to so much of what Idaho has to offer!

* Twenty five minutes to Bruneau Sand Dunes
* Thirty minutes to Glenns Ferry, ID

This was a quick overnight stop for us so we didn’t get to take advantage of all the amenities but Amber’s place was so warm and inviting and decorated so nicely. We weren’t traveling with our pup this time but we know how hard it is to find a good place that accepts pets so I really appreciate that. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for our quick stay as we drove to Oregon. The pet accommodations were very convenient. Would love to enjoy the games and ambiance in the backyard on a return visit where we have more time.

Perfect halfway point!

A near perfect fit for us. The home was comfortable and well kept. The owner is a gem, great communications and willing to be sure our stay was fully enjoyed.The yard worked wonderfully for our dog and for a family gathering with our son, his wife and our grand kids. Evenings around the fire pit and afternoons of corn hole, great memories.

This house was the right size for 4 people 3 of us in our 70s and 1 in the 50s. No out side noises to keep you awake, We were out and about most of the time. The coffee in the morning was great the beds were comfy we slep very good. We would saty here again. Thanks to the owner.

This was my first time staying alone in a short-term rental. This was a welcoming and thoughtfully put together space. The board games selection was very fun. There's laundry onsite, but I chose not to venture into the basement. I was happy all the doors had locks. Would love to see a curtain for the window over the kitchen sink :) It was really sweet sitting on the front porch at dawn - peaceful with many happy birds to listen to. Overall, loved it and would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Great Home

We have stayed in a few other places, but this by far is one of the nicest and well stocked properties. The home had everything you would ever need or want. Also, Amber was a great host and even had a local bottle of wine for us to enjoy.

Cute and Clean

My wife and I stayed just one night. All the motels were full. We enjoyed the stay and it was a good property, albeit somewhat over priced. It was very clean and well decorated. It was located on a slightly busy street. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it seemed like it was very functional. Our only suggestion would be for the owner to devote similar attention to the back patio, yard and grill. After spending all day in the car we wanted to spend a little time outdoors. But the backyard was not very pleasant. However, we could tell the owner is investing in the property as rent proceeds occur.
