The Downtown Velvet Adobe

You will love this newly renovated authentic adobe home located in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile to the Plaza. Modern yet comfortable, the living room has a large fireplace and oversized French doors. The fully equipped kitchen has lovely granite countertops and the dining area with an original kiva fireplace. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and smart tv's. The covered portal in the backyard is perfect for morning coffee or casual dining with friends and family.

We had your comfort in mind when we renovated this lovely Pueblo style adobe home! From the diamond plaster walls, beautifully stained concrete floors, venetian plaster fireplaces, sweeping granite counter tops, dreamy bathroom tiling and luxurious bedroom linens, we hope you will feel comfortable and pampered. The home is also equipped with ductless mini-splits for cooling and heating, which are quiet and efficient. Outdoors, you'll enjoy the peaceful and private courtyard complete with mature landscaping, fire pit, water feature, bbq and plenty of seating.

And just steps from the front door you will find many shops, restaurants and art galleries! You may even decide to take the near by River Walk to the famous Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.

Note: While the indoor fireplaces are not for guest use, the outdoor fire pit is very cozy and inviting.

Wonderful Stay

My family had a wonderful time on a quick trip for some skiing at Ski Santa Fe. The house was super clean and comfortable. Location is great to be close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for our family! It was very clean and had all the supplies we needed to cook a meal at the property. It was conveniently located for us to explore Black Canyon of Gunnison in the morning, and walk the downtown area in the afternoon/evening. We really appreciated the snack basket left for us on arrival as well! Thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic place to stay in Santa Fe

This was a great house to stay in. Everything is brand new, and it is a 10 minute walk to the plaza. The back yard was amazing! My kids really enjoyed the house to. I would certainly stay here again.

Restorative respite.

My family and I stayed at this property while I was doing business in Santa Fe. The host, Lynn thought of everything. From the coffee and scones, to the clean climate controlled home, and peaceful courtyard. I would definitely stay at this property again. It's even better than the pictures and a short walk to dining and shopping.

Great location, walkable to everything and easy to get to. Cleanest property ive ever been in (including my own house). :) Lynn was very thorough and helpful throughout our stay. We Loved the Velvet Adobe

This rental was just perfect for a girls trip for 3. The house is beautifully decorated and well-thought out with every amenity in mind. We loved sitting in the backyard around the firepit in the evenings and having our morning coffee out there as well. The location is great - easy walking distances to all there is to do in Santa Fe. We will be back and I highly recommend!

Great Place

We spent 2 nights in October with another couple at the Velvet Adobe. We all agreed that this was our best ever VRBO experience. The host gave us everything we needed leading up to our stay, the kitchen was well appointed for our 2 dinners there, the private backyard was a great place for grilling and enjoying a glass of wine around the gas fire pit. And the house was clean throughout and the beds were comfortable. The house location is a short walk to the plaza.

Velvet Adobe is Fantastic!

We stayed at the Velvet Adobe with another couple for a long weekend and it was fantastic! The backyard is like a zen garden, where we spent much of our time. The house is super clean and comfortable, has a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms with Trader Joe amentities. Lynn is a great communicator to include the check-in process, videos for special items and notes throughout the house to ensure everything functioned well. She even left scones, which were very tasty! The beds were comfortable, sheets were soft and bath towels were very big. Lastly, location was great, we were about 1-2 miles to all the must see attractions. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Santa Fe.

Great Location on the West Side

Four of us spent three perfect days in Santa Fe at Lynn's home. It was everything you would want in a vacation rental: walking distance to the Plaza, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, updated kitchen and baths, and prompt communications with the owner. The kitchen also included sharp knives, many spices, and quality cookware, all of which we took advantage of one evening for dinner. We appreciated her welcome gifts, too. Since it was cold, we did not use the fire pit or the cute backyard, but they would be very nice at another time of year. Would love to return.
