All bedrooms open onto graceful porches, 4 on the seaside overlooking the pool/spa and 3 on the rear of the house overlooking a deep lot that offers total privacy from the roadway. All four porches are furnished with either rocking or Adirondack chairs and tables. The porch off the great room also boasts a dual dining tables capable of seating 14+ guests. All of the porches and the pool area have high and low level lighting and audio systems. The partially shaded pool/spa area features a grill and dining table for yet another spot designed for eating and recreation.

Perhaps you are a birdwatcher and a beachcomber. Huntington State Park is only a short drive away. The beach and park afford intimate glimpses of nature including the summer migration of sea turtles. Brookgreen Gardens, America's first public sculpture garden, is the setting for a collection of American's finest 19th and 20th century sculptures and plant species. The gardens also contain low country history and wildlife preserve with native and domestic habitats.
