We stayed at this house over Christmas. The huge storm that hit the country at the start of that week resulted in some of our family not making it, but the rest of us still had a fun time.
Due to the extreme cold, the pipes froze up - fortunately the property guy on call (Jason?) was able to come out and dethaw the pipes and get the water running. Then had a few more issues over the next day or two because we were dripping water and there was an auto shut-off to prevent water leaks that kept shutting off the water flow. On the third day there it warmed up enough that we didn't have to drip water and the problems went away. I'm sure this won't impact many of you reading this as it is unlikely you will see this kind of temperature during your stay.
The house was very large and the rooms were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked - it was nice to have two refrigerators and two washing machines in the kitchen as well as plenty of pots and pans and flatware. We liked that everyone had their own bathrooms. Owners installed a Christmas tree for us on the main floor which was a nice touch, as well as having the property manage call us to verify that it was OK to do so.
Due to it being cold most of the week, we didn't get to enjoy the beach as much as we would have liked. We did enjoy the hot tub almost every day and used the grill a couple of times.
Despite the water issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the spacious accommodations.
One minor complaint - this house had a keypad for getting into the house. Why did we have to pick up the packet at the Dunes Rental office? Could you not have left the packet at the house and texted me the check-in code? Due to the office being closed for Christmas Eve, the packets sat outside all day and anyone could have come along and helped themselves. Not really a secure way of handling.
