Marion Lake Tree House

A dream come true, this tree house keeps all the charm and fun of a house in the woods with a touch of modern comfort. It is the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and take in the sunrises and sunsets. Guests enjoy private beach access to Marion Lake just across the road.

This is an off-grid stay with an outdoor shower below the house and a chic outhouse a short walk from the front door. There is no WiFi here, making it the perfect place to disconnect from devices and reconnect with the outdoors.

The tree house offers a simple kitchen setup with a fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker. Cooking happens outdoors on the propane grill, perfect for relaxed lake days.

An ideal stay for those seeking a refined rustic getaway with comfort, character, and a slower pace.

Perfect Adventure

This Treehouse adventure was Perfect! Every corner of the property was perfect and inviting! It is a storybook vacation and the accommodations were above and beyond my expectations! I will definitely return for another stay!

Amazing Experience

My friend and I had such a great stay at the Marion Lake Tree House. We were greeted warmly and shown all around the property. All of our questions were answered and we felt so welcomed! I hope we will be back soon!

The perfect spot for a getaway!

We fell in love with the property at first sight! We enjoyed the views of the rolling prairies and the vineyard/orchard - we saw deer running in the prairie on occasion! Sleeping accommodations were perfect for the 3 of us, the bed and sofa sleeper were very comfy! The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook up simple meals and we ehoyed our coffee from the deck chairs and chair swing outdoors! There are plenty of seating options to relax alone or gather and chat up on the deck or under the treehouse. We loved the outdoor shower. The outhouse is not too far from the treehouse. Everything was very clean, cute and cozy! The owners really have made the property a great place to stay and feel secluded from the hustle and bustle of daily life with all the amenities you need to feel right at home- they were very attentive to any questions we had during our stay. We would love to stay here again!

A Minnesota native who's lived in New York, London, Singapore, San Francisco and now Lake Tahoe (Nevada), I love to travel, to meet new people and to explore unique and interesting cultures.

My family has been on Marion Lake for 60+ years. My grandpa and great-grandpa built the cottage a few doors down, and growing up I spent every summer I can remember up here. Marion Lake has shaped so much of who I am and has always been home for our family. As a family, we've been working together since 2022 to share Marion Lake Lodge & Marion Lake Tree House (new in 2023) with others, in hopes you too can experience and appreciate all that Marion Lake has to offer.

To those who choose to stay with us, thank you in advance for the opportunity to host you. We're excited to welcome you to the Lake!

Additionally, this home comes with a wonderful community supporting it. Friendly and welcoming neighbors, as well as family members of the owner nearby. If you ever need anything during your stay, we're always around to help. We love Marion Lake, we love sharing that experience with new people, and we want to make sure you get a chance to fall in love with our little Tree House.
