Within a very short distance to Houghton Lake, ATV Trailhead, and multiple restaurants and bars.

The spacious house was perfect for us 5 adults and 2 children that stayed here. The location was perfect, in close walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a short drive from both a Walmart and Family Fare. The best part of course was being so close to both Higgins and Houghton Lake. The pool table and jacuzzi were perfect for when we came back from a long day boating. We would definitely consider staying at this property again next time we were in the neighborhood!

Property was as stated in ad, downside was the A/C only had 2 in window units in common area leaving the bedrooms rather warm for sleeping, only 1 fan to help move air and cool rooms.

Fall get away

We stayed a couple nights and played golf in the area. Vrbo property was close, clean, and convenient.

Overall, the house is in need of a deep cleaning. There are visible cobwebs, dust, dirt, and stains throughout.Numerous light bulbs are burned out.There was no hand soap provided in any of the bathrooms or the kitchen, so we had to purchase our own.The listing advertised a grill as an amenity, but the propane tank was empty. We had to buy and replace it with a full tank.The kitchen is understocked for a 4-bedroom home that sleeps 8. There was only one pot and one pan available for cooking.The flooring throughout the house, especially in the kitchen, is in poor condition. There are visible holes, missing subfloor in places, and significant signs of rot and warping.The back deck is rotted, dirty, and not in usable condition.There are visible cracks and signs of water damage on ceilings throughout the home.

Its nice hottub outside is the nicest thing about this place beds are very outdated broken frame in master bedroom huge tub in master bedroom takes HOURS to even fill half way water pressure is extremely low nice place to stay quick fast in a hurry but tv in living room said no signal the whole time its definitely not bad just needs some updating to make it worth the money

The location was fine. Close to everything we were doing. The hot tub was great. We never entered the game room. Communication with property owner was not great. I asked a question 1 month before checking in, I got a response the day we checked in. The property needs a deep cleaning and some upkeep. BUT it served its purpose.

Houghton lake trip

Extremely dirty. Should clarify that the air conditioning is just 2 window units ( not central air). Beds/furniture are all past their prime. Not sure why we pay a cleaning fee when it is not clean

This property is older and definitely requires remodeling/ renovation. The bathrooms need some hooks to hang clothes and all rooms can use brighter lights that are not mismatched in color. Location of the property is good but overall appeal is lacking. They also have minimal kitchen utensils and none of the bathrooms had shower gels which is pretty standard amenity provided. There was also smell in the laundry room as if some critter was dead and I had informed host about it but they didnt come or send anyone to take care of it. Overall not the best experience
